It is a part of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and lies about 10 km southwest of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. It has about 31,300 inhabitants, half of which live in the newly built district of Getsewoud. The built-up area of the town was 3.71 km, and contained 7,513 residences. The wider statistical area of Nieuw-Vennep has a population of around 40,000. In 2001, Nieuw-Vennep had 17,886 inhabitants, which later doubled due to the development of Getsewoud.

I was privileged to eat lunch in this restaurant for 4 consequent days. The food items were delicious as per dutch standard. Considering our Indian Origin they served at least rice item and chicken curry. The most memorable item of this restaurant was Salmon it was out of the world. The restaurant has good view of front road. All the non vegetarian items were ultimate. The Pastries or other sweet items were also unique. I enjoyed all the lunch and hope to visit here again.Thank you very much for your compliments! It's very nice to hear that you enjoyed our lunch offerings for 4 consequent days. I've eaten here many times to celebrate birthdays and what not, and every time it is a treat. The menu is very tasty, with some very Australian dishes (kangaroo, ostrich or crocodile anyone?), always prepared to a very high standard. The wine selection is amazing. The menu changes often enough to keep this restaurant fresh and innovative. Staff is always kind and welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit!

We were in Lisse for the Kuekenhof Tulip Festival and happened across this restaurant. Excellent dinner for a meat-lover (green egg cooked prime steak) and for a gluten-free wife. It's been owned and operated for 32-years and the owner was around the whole evening - creating a personalized and authentic experience. There's wonderful modern art on the walls, one piece celebrating the owner. Our server, Kristen, was very friendly and had suggestions on what to do in Lisse and the surrounding areas the next day. We went back the next night, same staff, same excellent service, great experience. A first class experience. If you're looking for a high quality meal, among a restaurant that is clearly a big hit with the locals and has a authentic atmosphere, this is a great choice.

The patio as well as the restaurant's interior looks purely functional but neat.The lunch menu kicked off with an original salad of prawn and radish; very well-balanced with good flavour. The second course of precisely cooked cod covered with sobrasada was equally enjoyable. The main course of sirloin was pleasant, to be finished with a fine dessert of yoghurt ice and rhubarb.Service was good (lady) to mediocre (tall gentleman). The bill for two including aperitif, mineral water, and pairing wine for the second course came to 120 EUR.An experience that I like to repeat anytime soon.

If you want to go somewhere, knowing you can just have a carefree evening with excellent food and awesome staff, this is your place. The staff is really well trained and you can ask them anything while given an detailed answer and amazing hospitality. I have no words but perfection for the food. Everything is made with so much love, and thats exactly the taste of every dish. Next time, because there definitely will be a next time (and next, next and next time) we will try the tasting menu, as itâs multiple courses. The food is so awesome so why not (almost) have it all? The lunch we had was fantastic. My wife, a vegetarian was specially impressed with her salad. I has the flower based tuna dish which was sooo tasty and our guest had the seafood special which had tastes of various fishes. The service was impecable and nice to see proper cutlery and linen. Cannot fault the restaurant.

A smaller coffee place nestling right next door to a well known competitor, so easily overlooked.Window seats were swings (fastened so you couldn't swing through the window!) which immediately set it apart as quirky.Lovely staff, catering for all, followed a sign language conversation between one of the staff and a customer.We just wanted coffee and appeltaart and found this much to our liking, especially as there was a special offer, making it about half the price that we have found it for elsewhere. The toasties looked amazing, so we will have to come back on our next visit to Holland and try some out.Dear Engelsman, Thank you for your great review and your recommendation. We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked about 1km to get here and were very happy that we did. My wife had catch of the day and I had a ribeye, both of them were very good. The restaurant is a cross between a farm style and modern looking restaurant, the decor was very nice. If we're ever travelling thru the area again, we're definitely going to stop in and enjoy another meal here.

Quite basic on dinner options and not all of them that nice.I really didnât like the pizza or the pasta but I enjoyed rib eye. The bar has some good offering on shared dishes . What a great final dinner before seeing the family off tomorrow at the airport. Burgers are wonderful. The spicy fried extremely flavorful. And the salads were also good. But Bob the burger man at Brute is the man. He wonât steer you wrong, will explain the nuances of the menu, etc. Who knew Hoofddorp served up some rockinâ burgers. Go to Brute. Youâll love it!
