The location of this one Michellin star restaurant is perfect. Charming historic building on the main village square. Great terrace for el fersco dining. The interior is wonderfull also, especially if you like art, as the art collection is amazing! Ask the owner to explain some paintings, he is a very entertaining and knowledgable guy.The food and wine were excellent also. Creative paintings on your plate, with nice wine pairings.The service is realy perfect. Very kind and attentive people and they create an excellent atmosphere. Price level is around â¬100-125) each person. Absolutely worthwhile

The Zuyd restaurant is located at the southern side of Breda Furnishings and decoration provides a brasserie atmosphere. In summer you can dine or have a glass at the terrace. Service is adequate and friendly. Traditional cuisine defines its character.We came on a weekday and the restaurant was complete, a good sign. We went for a classical 3-course diner and were not disappointed. Food is well presented and tasty.We recommend Zuyd to anyone who seeks good food at an acceptable price. The restaurant deserves a Bib Gourmand.

Om eerlijk te zijn had ik niet zulke hoge verwachtingen van deze brasserie in de middle of nowhere, maar het viel absoluut niet tegen!Met z'n vieren bezochten we dit restaurant. De antourage van dit restaurant is erg mooi, doordat het in een oud pand gelegen is. Het restaurant was op 2 of 3 tafels na leeg op de avond dat wij het restaurant bezochten.Voor mij als vegetarier was er slechts een beperkte keuze op de menukaart en ik begreep zelfs van iemand van de bediening dat het de eerste keer was dat ze dit vegetatische gerecht hadden bereid.Ik was niet echt tevreden over de bediening. De productkennis was erg slecht: eerst kwam er iemand aan onze tafel die zei dat ze niets wist over wijnen, daarna kwam er iemand anders die beperkte informatie hierover kon geven. Later vroeg ik op basis van wat voor bouillon de soep gemaak was (omdat ik wilde weten of deze vegetarisch is) en ook dit moest even gecheckt worden.De kleding van de bediening was slordig en men liep op sneakers, jammer. Het eten was prima! De productkennis en het enthousiasme van de medewerkers kan beter. Ook is er ruimte voor meer Vegan/Vegetarische menu opties.
