If you love homemade pasta and great tasting food, Farina's is the place to go. The Bruschetta is outstanding and there is a wide selection of delicious entrees. My friends and I recently had the pasta lunch special with choice of two sides. It was just the perfect amount of food. I had a Caesar Salad and Bruschetta along with my half-order of Bow Tie Pasta of the day. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for an intimate lunch with friends. It was excellent value for the money and the service was attentive. I love Farina's and eat there frequently for lunches and dinners. It is truly Italian Food at its best!

Ate here between hockey games. I had the chicken breast with a gluten free bun and gluten free fries. It was simply delicious. Who knew a local burger joint could have food this good. The menu is very large with plenty of options from home made soup to burger to pasta to sandwiches. My friend had the clubhouse and he really enjoyed his mean as well. And the prices were very reasonable as well. Will be returning the next time I am in North Bay.

We love the Algonquin location. We love to dine in - always seems to be tastier than Delivery. Wish they would have draft beer other than local craft beer on tap (beer menu has changed from years past). Wine list is limited where before you could opt for a Chianti. The restaurant could use some updating. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. One of the best pizza locations in North Bay!

Almost every business day I stop at either location to get coffee & muffins. Locations are clean, and abuzz with energy. Staff are very attentive & pleasant. I don't find their pricing to be value driven, however, I guess that is what is expected for quality. And that is consistent.

We recently visited Burger World with my 3-year old grandson. Two clubhouse sandwiches with fries, one bacon cheeseburger for the three-year old (no fries), one chocolate milk and one Pepsi totalled nearly $50. A similar clubhouse at another local diner runs $9.99 to others at $11.99. This is not Montana’s - way too overpriced for what was served.

Enroute to acochrane on hwy 11 We saw a faded billboard on the side of the road on this beautiful sunny September day. It was totally worth the short diversion of the highway. We sat outside on the patio of this charming restaurant, looking out over Trout Lake. Excellent meal, nice variety, great service. Our group had the fish and chips, grilled veg and goat cheese wrap and the rueben. All good sized portions, fresh and hot.

We are two retired couples from Vancouver Island on our way home after a visit to eastern Canada to see first hand the spectacular colours of Autumn.
We ended up in North Bay last night and after checking in to a motel we went in search of food and wow did we find a gem.
Dave's were just about to close when we strode through the door, but that did not stop the staff being the professionals they are. We were quickly shown to a table and drinks were served shortly.
Then came the meals and OMG were they good. I had the General Tao chicken which my dining partners kept wanting to taste just once more. The same could be said about the other meals at which point we became like small children swapping a bit of this for a bit of that.
We all departed full and happy, only wishing this restaurant wasn't 4000 kms from home.

I have breakfast at Terry's place about once a month with friends for over 5 years now. I've always had great service and great food. They even know my order by heart!! I totally recommend it ... make sure you get the shredded hash browns!! Yum

In town for just one night and did a quick search to find recommended restaurants fairly close by.
We arrived to find the bar half of the place bursting at the seams and the other, more sedate dining room empty. We'd arrived on one of their Trivia Nights which explained the crowd but we were seated in the empty dining room by a very pleasant, charming server who assured us it was fine to sit somewhere away from the crowd.
Elegantly dark and monochromatic decor is an inspired choice and an added nod to the building's former life as an old house.
I had the special of curried cauliflower soup and a side of the gnocchi dish while hubs settled for the mac and cheese since his first choice of bangers and mash was unavailable. All food was tasty and service was quick and attentive.The gnocchi was very slightly underseasoned but all in all a good dish. We indulged in a shared dessert of dark chocolate cheesecake (that lasted about two minutes on the plate!) and enjoyed a cup of decaf from fresh ground beans.
There is a large, comfy Seating area on the porch outside but all the activity was happening inside on this particular evening.

Stopped in for a fast lunch before a meeting in North Bay. My colleague had been before and recommended the restaurant. This is a long lasting restaurant that has proven itself over time. We were both very pleased at the speed and level of service. Food was great. I recommend this place.
