Cerna hora represents the pub of Erasmus guys that spend a period at the university in Nitra. Owners are very kind people and available for private party (famous are there the International parties!!). kind of a traditional beer pub. They have some food but seemed to us to be a place to just stop and have a beer. They have about 8 lines of beer, which is not common as many restaraunts have just one or two selections. they also have wine and mixed drinks. inexpensive as many of Nitra's gathering places are

The bar seems to be very popular in the late night hours. A must is Cuban rum and high quality coffee. You can spend the whole evening going through the long list of drinks which are prepared in a professional way by the skilled bartenders. It`s a show to follow them when they mix the drinks :) Nice interior, loud music and a lot of people create the right atmosphere.

Myself and four colleagues visited mid week after recommendations. We had wings to start which were lovely followed by 4 sirloin and 1 tee bone steak. The tee bone was fabulous and well cooked but the stars for us were the sirloins which were more like fillets. Gorgeous. The service was also excellent and the house red a perfect accompaniment to the meats.
