We had a long lunch two days in a row here as we were so pleased with the food. As a surprise starter we got mushroom soup and minestrone, which both were good. There were three main courses on lunch menu, all 4-6 euros. Very tasty and rather large portions. The restaurant was rather full on both days during 12-14. Still attenive and fast service at a next to ridiculously low price level.Warm recommendation!

Really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant, they were able to cater for my veg requirements and the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh and filling! Staff were super friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable! Definitely will be visiting again when back in Nitra!

This is probably my "surprise of the year" in Slovakia. This restaurant, or bistro is family run business, with excelent kitchen, excelent service and value which match!Menu changes every day and is very creative, innovative and very tasty. It is fusion of Slovak, French and Italian cousine. The chef is very good. The service very friendly and helpful.We had some duck, ribeye, salmon, everything very tasty and fresh. This estaurant is known with homemade cakes, very delicious. 5 of us had 3 apetizers, 5 mains, 2 cakes and 3 cakes taking with us, 1 bottle os sekt, 6 watters, 2 glasses of wine all for 100 EUR.I will definitely come back soon, this is the best restaurant in Nitra for sure!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Myself and four colleagues visited mid week after recommendations. We had wings to start which were lovely followed by 4 sirloin and 1 tee bone steak. The tee bone was fabulous and well cooked but the stars for us were the sirloins which were more like fillets. Gorgeous. The service was also excellent and the house red a perfect accompaniment to the meats.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Nitra. Food is delicious, I try something different every time I go (they change the menu everyday, although a few basics remain) and I've never been disappointed. Their tiramisú is the best I've ever eaten. Service is great. It's an excellent place to visit on the weekends.

Sad to say the shambles of the 2nd visit overshadowed the quality of the first ,when not overly busy service is great like the food however Friday evening it was awful 4 of us managed to finish our starters before the 5th arrived and was politely then turned away ,when I had questioned the staff he said he had looked for it but. Couldnât find it ! No question on the quality it was as good as first visit ,however it looks like when under pressure itâs a completely different storyI am so sorry to read this. We will try to do our best even under pressure. Hope to see you again in Stará KotolÅa.

Have eaten here twice since arriving in Slovakia and on both occasions expectations were met on our first visit I had the Ribs as we had arrived a little later than the others and you get 2 and a half racks for 15 euro when we returned on the 0th I had chicken noodle soup followed by 4 pieces of fried coated chicken on proper mashed potatoes along with a ginger & honey tea ,hopefully return in new year once we arrive back after xmas
