Charming and great Rooms!
Reviewed By HockeeLadyGreat room! We had not only the bedroom but a sitting room as well! Comfortable beds and a large bathroom. It is well run and the staff knows how to make you feel welcome. Their dining area was wonderful and the food EXCELLENT! Would recommend this to families especially.

Great hotel, ideal location, incredible food and amazing staff
Reviewed By Scott SI could not have been happier with my 4 night stay at Hotel Zum Anker. The location is perfect across from the Mosel and close to countless vineyards. My room was lovely and very comfortable, and the bathroom very new. It is also very quiet. I ate 2 dinners at the hotel, the first evening an amazing steak. The 2nd dinner was an incredible fish dish, that I joking said "was so good I wanted to eat the plate!" Amazing food!! Breakfast is also very good. A nice assortment of the European style breakfast along with eggs and bacon. The staff is wonderful and I enjoyed them so much they are each worth mentioning here: Udo and his wife, Gabi, the owners thank you for your warmth and hospitality. And to their son Gino for the assistance with translation, a very bright and mature young man. Mira, Constantin, Arlindo thank you for the great service and the smiles and especially the Spatlese Mira introduced me to. Can't have good food with out great kitchen staff so thank you to Dana, Bogdon and Tonut (forgive me if I mispell the names). Also to Maria, who kept my room in perfect shape and very clean. And to all the readers, if you visit the Mosel, Hotel Zum Anker is the perfect place with very reasonable prices and the best of the rest as I have mentioned above. I look forward to returning!

Reviewed By MrsPiketAm Römerweinschiff is a Café-Konditorei & Hotel located in the centre of Neumagen at the Mosel River. The café is furnished and decorated in a friendly seventies style. Service is adequate. Neumagen is quiet and unimpressive. Café Römerweinschiff is popular with by-passers as well as tourists. The Konditorei is a classical German patisserie and offers coffees and a choice of homemade tarts and pastries. We came on a bicycle tour and the Café terrace was tempting for coffee and cake. The tart was so-so and the coffee was reasonable. Am Römerweinschiff is an OK place for a coffee break. In from of the door you find a copy of the Roman wine ship statue.

Keine Ferien am Moselufer
Reviewed By 4444kathrinÜber die Touristinformation Bernkastel-Kues haben wir die Ferienwohnung gebucht unter dem Namen: "Ferien am Moselufer". Auf dem Foto war ein Haus am Moselufer deutlich zu erkennen. Es handelt sich hier aber nur um das Wohnhaus des Herrn von Scotti und nicht um die Ferienwohnungen. Die Fewo befinden sich im Hinterhof, zwar mit Blick auf den Garten, aber nicht am Moselufer, wie versprochen. Der Küchenbereich war eklig alt und die Geräte und Geschirrutensilien alt und verbraucht. Der Abwaschlappen benutz...wer weiß von wie vielen Vorgängerurlaubern. Nicht mehr tragbar in der heutigen Zeit. Das versprochene WLAN nur in Ansätzen vorhanden. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir nur im Freien abstellen, obwohl genügend Gebäude zur Verfügung standen. Von Gastfreundschaft keine Spur. Wen das alles nicht stört, kann dort gut Urlaub machen.

Nette Ferienunterkunft
Reviewed By tonit968Zilli und Heribert Koch sind zusammen mit Sohn Markus so ziemlich die Nettesten "Herbergsbesitzer" die wir jemals kennengelernt haben. Wir hatten ein großes sauberes Appartment mit einem riesigen Bad. Es war alles einfach und funktional eingerichtet. Im Ortsteil Drohn werden früh die Bürgersteige hochgeklappt, die Hauptstrasse störte überhaupt nicht. Wir verbrachten mehrere Abende in der dazugehörigen urigen und gemütlichen Straußwirtschaft und wurden von Vater Heribert durch seine Weine geführt. Die sehr familiäre Atmosphäre hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir gleich einen Folgetermin gebucht haben.

Ok - mit Luft nach oben
Reviewed By HeiMaGuWir waren im September hier und unser Zimmer hatte: einen defekten Rauchmelder (nur 1 von 3 AA-Batterien), einen defekten Lüfter im Bad & eine miserable Dusche (nach 90 Sekunden warm ging der Durchlauferhitzer für 5 Sekunden aus und dann wieder an). Die Gastwirte waren aber sehr bemüht und das Frühstück war gut.
