Came with a goody bag that my kid finds it interesting. Hand sanitiser smells good. Buggy service was prompt and driver very courteous. Room was clean and very tidy. Even better than Pangkor Laut's room. TV color was dull (Room 231). At night, its very difficult to see the picture on TV. Bathroom heater worked extremely well. Better than Hard Rock Hotel Desaru. Aircond works very well. Loves the in-room swimming pool. One of the highlights. Dinner buffet at Umi Restaurant RM120 per pax is too expensive. Food selection and quality very poor e.g. Green tea has no taste. No tempura. Sashimi were limited. Cut of salmon mostly at fat area. Only has beef cook with onion ala Chinese style. Garlic rice was good. Chicken teriyaki looks tired and dry. White rice was good. Staff service was good. No prawn, except for prawn sushi. It's really below Sushi King quality. Roselle Restaurant buffet dinner is satisfactory. But not consideration to kids' diet. Served spicy crab, spicy chicken. Not suitable for my 10 years old kid. We thought its an International buffet style. Many family dropped by Uni Restaurant or Roselle Restaurant to "peep" at the food before deciding to eat-in. We finds it cheapskate for such family to do so. BUT, on hindsight, I should have done that to see what is suitable for us especially our kid. En. Aziz of Roselle Restaurant came to our rescue. I inform En. Aziz of our problem that the food is not suitable for my kid. En. Aziz listened and thi ks for a while saying they do have a la carte for room service. I asked En. Aziz whether can arrange for ala carte to eat at Roselle since me and wife are havng buffet dinner there. En. Aziz think a while and said will check with kitchen. En. Aziz came out and gave us OK sign. We are very happy. En. Aziz really was extraordinary. En. Aziz walked the extra mile in helping us. En. Aziz really deserves special recognition and extra monetary reward from the management. The dessert with cranberries, almond flakes and mushroom soup are a must-try!. Very good. Buffet breakfast was acceptable. Limited choices. Mostly Asian style rather than international buffet style. Not great, but acceptable. My kid ended up eating roti canai, hashbrown and telur goreng. Guava juice was good. Not much activities here. Cycling looks like a favourite but we didn't try. Swimming pool was good. Check out was easy. Just drop off the key card into readied box. Conclusion : Satisfactory 3D2N trip but better eat outside.

Reviewed By taihualInternet in room keep dropping. Room is mosquito and bed bugs infested. Got mosquito flying around me all night. Got bitten by bed bugs till I lose sleep. No direct access to beach. Five star hotel but facilities 2 star. First and last time I go become bug food Updates The management just called. Denied any liability. Say found no evidence of bed bugs, must be mosquitos, despite I have submitted doctor report stating it is bed bugs bite. Really their rationality is Malaysia boleh. I have over 40 bites all around my body. So either it must be a few really fat n hungry mosquitos that bite me over 40 times or that room must be swarming with invisible mosquitos that I cannot see and those mosquitoes are commandos trained becox they can tunnel through the blanket and bite me. And that I must have killed the mosquitos mother, becox my wife and kid sleeping on the next bed did not receive a single bite.

Reviewed By naza69Spent 2 nights stay during recent school holidays. Attached beach and readied pools with kids friendly slides were the main reasons for us in choosing this establishment. Check in session was done accordingly, albeit some delay in which acceptable due to high volume of guests, due to long weekend approaching. Amenities readied are so -so, deteriorated is such a harsh word but it might be need for major / wholesome transformation. Elevators readied cant cope with huge volume of visitors, well keep of surroundings not tend accordingly (it takes more than 24 hours for workers to clear bird droppings). Parking spots arrangement was a bit unusual (allocated beside the alleys approaching the establishment) Room accorded was acceptable and offers great views. Breakfast spread readied were ok The saving grace i must admit for this hotel is the quality of front office staff tendered to guest was a top notch. kudos to them

Reviewed By kavleepThe water chalet were dated. Wifi didn’t work and had to request for technician to fix it, other issues including broken kettle, this whole chalet needs refurbishment. We came to visit as 2 families but one of the bedrooms were infested with bed bugs. Made a complaint to the management and was told they couldn’t find any bugs. It was our second night at the resort when this happened, and it was during the night when it got bitten all over. I would discourage anyone going to this resort.

Badly maintain
Reviewed By KakramIts a one night stay with 4 adult and 3 kids. The floor is tiled. It is not swept and mop. My feet is full of dust walking on the floor. The towel is tattered and have seen better days.. Bathroom not clean. There is kitchenette but not for cooking just a sink. No dish soap. Can see dust on most surfaces. The only good thing is the beach near the hotel...
