Reviewed By 911martinezaBeautiful stay! Hotel Mercure Rif Nador is a perfect place to stay . It is close to the center and its giving on Mar chica . The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.

Reviewed By MoroccanExplorerStayed there for 2 nights to wait for our next flight. Service at reception and during breakfast is really good and welcoming. Bed and bathroom are clean, decor is a bit kitch with these red curtains.:) but then wait until you see the reception ceiling hahaha. Check the hot water in the shower, might take a little time before it got hot. Will definitely come back if needed . Oh I forgot the barking dogs around the hotel at night but it wasnt really a probem. feels like being in the country side.

It's like staying in a palace
Reviewed By Russ PLoved this place so much. The location isn't great but taxis are cheap, and once you enter through the door you'll be transported into another world! It really was like staying in a palace. Breakfast was superb too. Previous reports suggested wifi problems, but we found it to be very quick and stable.

Reviewed By Stijn TBasic hotel. Cold staff. WiFi is good. The rooms are very clean. Hot shower. Perfect location if you want to be close to the airport of Nador, only 15 min away by car. There is a lot of traffic during the day. At night it is ok.

Unforgettable gym area with everything you need for any type of workout with stunning view of the city and the sea. Pleasant indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. One big disappointment was the beach being closed in May despite the hot weather. All the beaches in the neighborhood were closed too. Outside pool was officially closed too. So there’s nothing to do outside. One small thing that I missed is the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Paying €4 for every drink is a lot. We ended up paying more for 1 meal a day than for the room itself.

Terrible hotel !
Reviewed By Kingpaul100Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I left after my first night - having pre paid for 3 nights ! It is a very low quality hotel in terms of fixtures and fittings tho was spotlessly clean. There is no sea view- there is a 4 storey building site- part completed building directly in front of hotel !! Staff were the most unwelcoming and disinterested staff I have ever met in the hospitality industry. Theu were almost hostile! The front door was permanently locked and you had to attract staff attention to gain entry/exit !! The Restaurant was closed! The only positive aspect is that towels and bedding and rooms in general were spotlessly clean!

Good place for holiday or business alike
Reviewed By TonkieFor the 3rd time in the past 6 years checked myself in in Hotel Babel. All these years two local businessmen own and run the hotel. Also much staff works there for long periods which is a positive sign. All reception and serving staff speak French and some of the receptionists speak English, but don't rely on it. But even when communication is difficult they are very helpful and do everything to correctly understand you. The hotel has a large cafe-area and one floor higher a restaurant (both open for public). In the restaurant alcohol can be served with a meal. The building is purpose built with some "open areas" so that every room has a window looking out over either the street or one of the open areas at the back. In both public areas as well as in the guest rooms a lot of brass furniture is used which is always fully polished. Also the daily room cleaning is very good: sometimes a tiny slow (taking a lot of time). The rooms are nice and large with a double bed and a seperate single bed:couples can share the double bed while two (no partner) guests can each use their own bed. Climate can be regulated via either opening your window or using the (vert silent) airconditioner. For cold winters central heating is installed in all rooms. Internet: Free WiFi available throughout the hotel: each floor has it's own SSID (all open) and at least 3 AP's per floor give good signal throughout. Speed and reliability of this Maroc Telecom broadband connection is in general good: only the relative frequent power dips or disruptions can interrupt the internet access for a minute per time. Other room-facilities: each room has a phone with direct public calling. Also a flat screen TV offers a choice of Arabic language channels and one French + German satellite channel is available. Apart from the dual beds mentioned each room has an open storage area (with curtain) for hanging your clothes and storing your luggage. Further one chair and a small desk to write or work on your computer. Large bathroom offers full bath and shower, a bidet for your feet and then of course toilet and sink. Complimentary soap and shampoo.
