The Wine Club is a very interesting address in Uccle, the Southern « commune » of Brussels.Located ch de Waterloo, Fort-Jaco, it serves wines. So far no surprise Interesting wines, most of them Bio, with a lot of references below 30 â¬.I was very excited to see (and taste ) Roc de Cambes 2012, a great bottle from François Mitjaville, the Bordeaux sorcerer.At 112 â¬, it looks pricy, but when you drink it, it explodes in the glass and surpasses a lot of much more expensive 1er Cru bottles.The first surprise comes along with the food. Most of the time, wine bars serve you banal humus and cheese board. Here the greek chef prepares delicious octopussy, an incredible risotto, tuna tataki, grilled vegetables and much more.A few days later I tried the beer list, and there comes the second surprise with almost 10 different bottled beers, all rated above 95/100 on RateBeer : Orval, Bellefleur, Gillardin, Lanterne⦠youâll need a few visits to approach them all.Last but not least, you can have a god meal with 2 wine glasses for less than 30 â¬.Highly recommended !

We went there without having eaten before. The place offers around 10 different plates/tapas to eat. We took the "planche mixte" and "burrata tomates" Both were nicely made and delicious to eat. We started with a red wine and the waiter/owner is very helpful, gives you a taste of the wine first. Afterwards we took a white wine and same thing, he helped us pick and it wasn't disappointing at all. We spent the whole night there, great atmosphere. We are from Genval and we use to go to Waterloo and Brussels but this is definitely a place to go out to even if there isn't much around besides the lake of Genval. You should definitely try a plate and a bottle ! You'll have a great time!

Know that it is not a 100% Spanish restaurant. The waiter insisted when we got there that it is a "Catalan" restaurant. Meaning Spanish-French from the region.Don't expect a pure tapas place either (although it offers some). It is a nice restaurant, a tad pricey but in line with the area. Good food / wine.Better to book a table before going as it gets busy at rush hours!
