This restaurant has a very restricted menu for non-meat eaters and they do not understand very easy the idea of having meat free plates .If you maybe seat down and explain they will be able to cook you something, but there are other options that will accommodate your vegetarian needs easily.The environment it's interesting in a old house with a hype decoration, still not worth the trouble if you are dinning alone

The place is nice and service as well.Food is very good and wine offering though limited is also nice.I suggest to acquire a wine dispenser because wine by glass offering is rather small.

It is everything that makes a meal special. In this case it was Jaqueline that introduced us to the fine wines of Vallontano and then Michele the chef that cooked us our meal that was simple and excellent and matched the taste of the Vallontano reds we drank, a glass of two different ones, and our conversation during and after with both of them that made the luncheon meal so special for me. They made me feel special. Hearing the music of the Doors rock group as I entered was wonderful on this late June afternoon winter's day with a warmth and brightness to the day. What a great surprise!!!After a great experience at mama gema I decided to try the pizza at night at Pizza entre Vinhos, and I was not disappointed!!!The restaurant it's quite spacious but busy so if you arrive late night you might have to wait a wile for be sited down, there are a few places where you can sit to wait and have a wine or a sparkling wine.The service it's good and fast, pizza came in last then 15 minutes.Many options for vegetarians and a very good thin doe pizza with very good toppings, fresh and quality ingredients including some very good quality cheese, and I guess wood oven .Wine it's located organized in shelfs on the restaurant so you don't have to look at the menu just walk around and choose your bootle .Great option and best pizza in the wine region

When reading the positive reviews from tripadvisor partners, maybe I may have created a higher expectation than I should have, which has generated some frustration. The place is nice, very well decorated and cozy. In fact the owner is present and visits all the tables and the service of the staff is very helpful. However, I expected more from the food ... in my case the meat spot came wrong (had ordered medium and came well done) and very dry; and the egg pouch came with the cooked egg instead of raw. Another thing is that they have a good wine list, but the wine cellar doesn't have a climatized environment.
