I have already known Dom Pepe because of the lunch, it is a good place to eat a healthy food if you are in town. But what surprised me was that I went there almost 11PM after a lecture I gave at the University, in a Monday, with nobody in the streets and all around closed, and they were opened! And the service was awesome, I did not have the feeling that I was disturbing their wishes to go home! Besides that, the pizza that night was delicious!

We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon Piacenza. We walked in and we were warmly greeted. The first two servers were somewhat taken aback that we spoke English but another fellow jumped right in to serve us. He did not speak English but it all worked out as we have a little Portuguese. The decor is not fancy but it is comfortable. You have a la carte choices for pizza and pasta or rodizio pizza. With rodizio the servers bring you the choice of pizzas that are being cooked in the kitchen and you can select as much or as little of any or all, as you like. There were 3 of us and we are not big eaters so we chose the a la carte. We had the large (grande) and chose 1/2 tuna with arugula and 1/2 with calabrese (sausage). Fantastic flavours, wonderful crust (fairly thin) and the service was exemplary! The beer was put on ice and poured by the servers, though sometimes not fast enough for my husband and our friend. That caused a lot of laughter with the server. Another server tempted us with the rodizio pizzas every time a new one came out of the kitchen. There were some really good looking and yummy smelling pizzas! They even offer dessert pizzas though we passed. All in all, good value, really great service and, so far, best bar none, pizza we have had in our travels in Brazil!

Abre as Segundas feiras, coisa raras já que a maioria dos restaurantes não abre. Cardápio muito diversificado e bem atraente. Fazem rodÃzio e servem saladas, além de massas. A carta de vinhos deixa um pouco a desejar, mas o serviço é muito bom. O preço é bem amigável.

Though it is called a "pizzeria", this place serves an assortment of basic dishes, and the meats are fairly good. But the best is its wine selection, with some of the best wineries from the Vale dos Vinhedos, including small and high-quality ones, like Angheben. Unlike other restaurants, that will charge you at least 50% over the list price, most wines here cost about 10% more than in the wineries themselves - a real bargain. The aforementioned Angheben varietals, for example, are sold for R$ 45 at the winery and only R$ 51 here. Not to be missed.

For travellers in the South of Brazil, I highly recommend this 'rodizio' (all you can eat - Brazilian style) pizza restaurant.The pizzas are very much Italian, since this is the italian region, they are all wood fired, and come in around 30 different styles. The waiters walk around each with several pizzas in hand offering you every type. They are quick, attentive, friendly and very funny. A few of them speak English, though for the most part people speak Portuguese here, not to worry you cannot go wrong here, just try every pizza and leave aside the ones you do not like.You will also get dessert pizzas included, which have around 10 different types including white and dark chocolate, strawberry and ice-cream etc, all served on sweet pizzas.The set menu is about 35 reals ($12USD), you pay for drinks separately.This is a very popular restaurant with locals, our Brazilian friends drove one hour to get to this restaurant, we waited around 10 minutes for a table as we did not book and it was the weekend. But the staff will offer you a seat in the bar area at the front while you wait, as well as a drink if you are lucky.Overall very good value, very fun and great food!

What a great surprise!!!After a great experience at mama gema I decided to try the pizza at night at Pizza entre Vinhos, and I was not disappointed!!!The restaurant it's quite spacious but busy so if you arrive late night you might have to wait a wile for be sited down, there are a few places where you can sit to wait and have a wine or a sparkling wine.The service it's good and fast, pizza came in last then 15 minutes.Many options for vegetarians and a very good thin doe pizza with very good toppings, fresh and quality ingredients including some very good quality cheese, and I guess wood oven .Wine it's located organized in shelfs on the restaurant so you don't have to look at the menu just walk around and choose your bootle .Great option and best pizza in the wine region
