I had a gorgeous Arrepa with a Piña Natural juice. We enjoyed the delicious meal and the polite people in here and bought also some art in here. It's a clear recommendation. I ate at this restaurant almost every day while spending a couple of weeks in the area. The food is amazing! I tried most things on the menu, and all of it was delicious, fresh, and well priced. As this restaurant is marketed towards local people, gringas like myself are delighted by the prices; most meals are about $6USD. The view is incredible - an outdoor seating area overlooks a mountainous valley, and on a clear day both the Turrialba and Irazu volcanoes can be seen. For anyone who is remotely in the area, it is well worth it in every way to head to the country side for a great meal (breakfast, lunch, or supper). Then stay and explore the area to see a different type of Costa Rican beauty than what you see on the coast or in the inland tourist areas. You'll be glad you did!

I have eaten here about a dozen times and it never disapoints! Marco and his staff do an amazing job. The restaurant is located near beside the Park.. A great place to meet up with friends, the menu has great snack choices.. I find the portion sizes are perfect and great flavor.They offer a wide variety of fruit drinks and shakes as well as coffee... Kids love the milkshakes!A great spot to eat in the center of Turrialba!

Soda la U is your best bet while visiting or passing by Turrialba.The MartÃnez sisters prepare delicious , fresh and healthy food, specially the Thursday's caribbean Rice'n Beans and on Friday night the Viernes de matiz, special menu including crèpes, pizza, pasta, etc.Friendly, young atmosphere, quick service & great deal!Go Cindy!!

This place is amazing. The view is spectacular. The dining area is new. The bathrooms are very clean. You have the most unbelievable view while washing your hands. I have been to almost all the restaurants in Turrialba. If you are just passing through, this is a definite must for lunch.

It was too bad that we found La Angostura on the second to last night of our trip to Costa Rica, because it was the best food we ate all trip! We went back the next night for our last dinner because the food was so good. We couldn't believe that this restaurant was not more full of people. Our trip was a bit off-season, and the location seems a bit out of the way, but if you are near Turrialba, this is definitely worth the trip for an excellent dinner.
