Semana Santa en Turrialba. Todas las sodas cerradas. Solo encontré este local abierto. Del ojeo de la carta me llamó el âRice and Beans, pollo cocinado al cocoâ, pero no quedaba. Opté por un arroz... poca cantidad, seco, patatas fritas demasiado fritas... bueno, para sobrevivir bien, pero la cocina más bien de baja calidad.

Soda la U is your best bet while visiting or passing by Turrialba.The MartÃnez sisters prepare delicious , fresh and healthy food, specially the Thursday's caribbean Rice'n Beans and on Friday night the Viernes de matiz, special menu including crèpes, pizza, pasta, etc.Friendly, young atmosphere, quick service & great deal!Go Cindy!!

I have stayed here many times with groups. I like the location and it is cool to sleep at night. It is simple, and the beds are a little rough, and the rooms are a little rough (everything is made of wood), so hopefully none of the guests are smokers. It is simple but relatively inexpensive (for highly overpriced Costa Rica) , the breakfast, Lunch and dinners are pretty good and reasonably priced. Verdulero,Thank you for preferring Turrialtico Lodge, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your visits.The hotel was built in 1948 and the wood construction is part of the experience. Smoking is not allowed at the rooms and we pride ourselves on cleanliness. We try to keep our prices competitive and always offer a good value and experience for our guests.Best Regards! The place is excellent for kids to see the farm animals and to also enjoy a nice view and cool climate. Regarding the food, it is typical Costa Rican food that is ok, not excellent. Best dish to recommend is the âolla de carneâ. Had a great family time even though it was a little rainy.
