This is a lovely place in the middle of town, upstairs and covered on top but open air to the sides. The food is great, a set menu with a few choices this evening for Motherâs day. Both the steak and the chicken were excellent.The staff are really friendly and the barman can make a good marguerita!We are pleased knowing that you had a nice stay. It will always be a pleasure to assist you!

We came across this restaurant by chance as we were strolling through Turrialba. This is a simple place, with some tables scattered around and some paintings for sale on the walls. Service from the beginning was difficult because we understood there was a certain fear of talking in English and we were left on our own ignored for most of the meal and nearly had to beg for our bill. Even tough, we ate what was probably the best Chicken Rice in all of CR, we tried again in many places but there was never one that nearly resembled the taste of this one. All in all, I would return here if I ever had the chance.

This place is amazing. The view is spectacular. The dining area is new. The bathrooms are very clean. You have the most unbelievable view while washing your hands. I have been to almost all the restaurants in Turrialba. If you are just passing through, this is a definite must for lunch.

The menu is huge and the food is amazing. Cool atmosphere where you can choose a COLD cool local beer or a tico Cocktail. The seafood dishes were deliscious and the service very professional and attentive. Rio is one of the best places to go out in Turrilaba if you want to enjoy dinner or have some drinks without feeling in a cantina.

I have stayed here many times with groups. I like the location and it is cool to sleep at night. It is simple, and the beds are a little rough, and the rooms are a little rough (everything is made of wood), so hopefully none of the guests are smokers. It is simple but relatively inexpensive (for highly overpriced Costa Rica) , the breakfast, Lunch and dinners are pretty good and reasonably priced. Verdulero,Thank you for preferring Turrialtico Lodge, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your visits.The hotel was built in 1948 and the wood construction is part of the experience. Smoking is not allowed at the rooms and we pride ourselves on cleanliness. We try to keep our prices competitive and always offer a good value and experience for our guests.Best Regards!
