We visited the gossip shop in the town after viewing all the comments on trip advisor regarding their home baking and afternoon tea serving When we asked for afternoon tea we were very disappointed to be told by the proprietor that we that we had to book a day In advance for this request due to a special order of cakes that we would select during the tea, The proprietor couldnât have been any more helpful attending to the other elements of food IE sandwiches and homemade cakes that we order during our snack, we had no complaints regarding the food and the service the tea room had a pleasant atmosphere, pity about the afternoon tea.

Regularly have breakfast here after visiting other places in area and this is without the best . Food is very good and great value for money. The lady is first class as I now do not even need to say why we wish..........most of the time.oops did I say that? Joking just in case I get raw eggs .

Super busy place especially on a nice day, weekends or during the holidays. Fantastic deli and shop area. Opted for a late brunch from the menu. Considering all of the wonderful food in the shop I was expecting something much better. Bacon was super salty and very fatty, sausage was okay and black pudding tasted very odd almost offputting. Will try again for lunch maybe breakfasts aren't their forte ?Thank you so much for coming to Ardardan, and for taking the time to write about your experience of your visit. We came her for my daughters birthday. Food was very well made and the view on to the farm grounds is great. This is a lovely place with home baking and true Scottish hospitality. There are llamas here also that were being clipped during our visit.
