Remarkably the open place open 9am on a Tuesday in the whole of Dumbarton high street. Didnât actually realise it was a Wetherspoons until we saw the menu.Ordered 2 traditional Scottish Breakfasts and 2 refillable hot drinks for less than £10.Food was tasty and exceptional value for money! Visited the Milton Inn with my family for an evening meal. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Good value for money as portion sizes were huge. Good choice for vegetarians. Great choice for children too. Good parking facilities and next to A82. I would recommend it!

For various reasons I've been hanging out a lot at the Coach House of late, slowly working my way through the menu. Can honestly say I've never had a dish that wasn't excellent, in flavour, in presentation and in amount! Proper attention and care means that the little details of the food service (eg. the consistency of the roll you get with your soup) are just right. The service is completely on-its-toes and the welcome is always warm. I love it! Handy for the golf club, it has very dedicated regulars in the bar behind, and the room to the front, with open fire and comfy chairs, is understandably always pretty busy. A great Scottish pub. I was here recently at a Rod Stewart tribute night. To tell the truth I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. Very well organised, taken to tables, food service was prompt and efficient and hot enjoyable food. Was pleasantly surprised as often Christmas nights the food is not up to much, but this was very nice indeed. Also the bedrooms were of a high standard, better than a few 4 stars hotels we have stayed in. Quality carpets and curtains. Bathroom fabulous. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel and wish luck to the new proprietors.

Staying in premier inn next door so decided to have a few drinks and meal in here. lovely food and drinks, very well priced and very good service. didnt wait long at all for meal to arrive. nice and friendly staff. Meal was lovely as well.

Recently visited after hearing about the new menu and offers available. Some food was ok, nacho were awful, soggy and tasteless. Worst was the drinks prices, defo will be drinki bt tap water if i go back. Wine was so over priced compared with other local places. I would expect to pay £20 with a nice meal in glasgow. But way over priced considering the menu and decor. Kitchen paper on a roll on the table instead of paper towels, felt so cheap.

Hadnât been to the Counting House for quite some time and forgot how good the food is. Over the past few weeks have been several times. The menu two for £10.99 mon-thurs has much more variety to choose from. Iâve had the chicken, bacon and leek pie, delicious and also the steak and ale pie, simple delicious. Other members of my family love the fajitas (chicken & steak) absolutely mouthwatering. One member of the family needs her meals to be gluten free and The Counting House has a separate vegetarian and gluten free menu. In the gluten free there is not a lot to choose from but she was more than impressed with the presentation and how tasty her meal was. So impressed was she we went back two weeks in a row. The desserts are scrumptious too. Value for money 10/10Variety on Two for £10.99 10/10Presentation 10/10Food 10/10Staff 10/10 canât do enough for you. So pleasant and very attentive. The reception at the Stonefield is always lovely and it's somewhere we always like to visit. I understand it is going through changes at the moment and have contacted management (via tripadvisor) about my (minor) complaint as I was not able to find other contact details online - it's great for kids with indoor and outdoor spaces for them and the staff are very attentive.

Had a lovely evening meal, spicy chicken and the steak pie for me. The chicken was very good but the steak pie was excellent, nice bit of steak. The dessert menu is very good, a great variety and all very well priced. Overall a great dinner, very well priced and topped off with excellent staff who were efficient and very pleasant. Thank you.

Some friends and I had dinner together here recently. Perfect meeting point for us at this cosy bar. We had a range of dishes between us such as Chicken Enchilada, Chicken Supreme (their version) and Nachos as a main. Soooo good, each dish was super tasty! Friendly service and great prices, we will be back again.
