Small Tourist farm with wonderful view to Skocjan's church. They offer traditional home cooking food like gnocchi, jota and meat at very reasonable price. Jota is well known soup for this part of Slovenia. Service is good, staff nice. Perfect place for children especially during spring or summer and early autumn when you are able to sit outside on courtyard.

The "gostilna" is in the middle of nowhere, (in Povir), not easy to find, rooms are very simple and noisy, but the food is excellent. Most of the food is produced by thier farm and you really taste the difference. We had both meat and fish and they were both delicious.

We had a wonderful experience at Gostilna Trost. Very nice wine, great food (we had octopus salad and seafood pasta) and the chocolate cake dessert tastes like heaven. Both hosts were very friendly. The prices are good and the atmosphere felt fancy but casual. We left the restaurant feeling completely happy. Thank you!

Had dinner with two friends in the backyard of this old-style typical Slovenian restaurant. Their menu focuses on meat. We had a nice appetizer of local ham and bacon (very good) together with "porcini" mushrooms. Main was a succulent beef fillet, cooked to the point, and very tasty, with some excellent sides. Drank a good bottle of Slovenian refosk. Be prepared to the fact they have no printed menu - in any case the bill was very reasonable. Familiar but efficient service.

We were a couple just passing by. Sunday, 2pm, the place was rather bussy. Full of Italians. We had a pasticcio, gnocchi with mushrooms, noodles with truffles, two green salads and a beer. Portions were substantial. Pasticcio (lasagne) was shapeless, noodles were unsalted and with too much cream, gnocchi overcooked with tasteless mushrooms. The price was 25â¬, which is not too overpriced for the qualiry.

Friendly staff, large porch with table and nice white Mavazija wine. Mycarpaccio was not thin enough but tasted good. My daughter zucchini soup was average just like our two main dishes: pasta with mushrooms & truffels and deer steaks (very medium). I appreciate that Divaca is not the culinary center of the world so letâs keep it at three stars and a plusfor the venue.

So say the Triesters in their dialect, which means you eat well & pay little. This is not a nouvelle cuisine, but the old style Slovenian gostilna, where you have always the same menu, but you can count on standard quality, with no volatility. What is important is also the quantity: their portions are for hungry people. Waiters kind and quick. Prices also for students!

Our restaurant is located in the Command building in the Park of Military History Pivka. We serve local dishes with a touch of old military food. In the permanent offer we have excellent military pasulj (bean soup), which will remind you of "good old time

We went there after Military museum tour. Originally we were rather sceptical, as restaurants adjacent to tourist attractions are IMHO rather weak and overpriced. But we gave a try. We enjoyed interior army design which included AA gun. Great, fast service, really nice staff. BTW. They immediately brought water for our dog without any request. We ordered local pljeskavica-hamburger in local bun, which was really delicious. Great food, reasonably priced. We would definitely return.
