This is a great restaurant anywhere, but especially in Villarrica. Casual atmosphere and plays latin music which is different!. Very helpful friendly service. We had the seafood appetizer..a meal in itself.. but also the trout, salmon and congrio on a crab confit? and topped with shrimp. All excellent. Perfectly cooked. very tasty. Some of the best we have had in South America. Matched it with a red wine which was excellent. Started off with pisco sours. no dessert. And the tab was very reasonable. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone searching out excellent seafood.

We stayed three nights at Villarrica Park Lake Hotel and had a wonderful stay. Of the three nights, we ate dinner out of the hotel twice and had dinner our final night at Aquas Verdes in the hotel. This was one of the worst dining experiences I can remember having! The only good thing I can say about the experience is that the restaurant has breath-taking views of the lake--the dining area is open and very pleasing. BUT--everything about the meal was unacceptable! After ordering drinks, the server brought a bread plate. I tried to cut the roll in half but it was too hard for the knife to negotiate. When the server returned, I demonstrated my frustration by hitting a roll on the table! 15 minutes later, freshly baked and soft rolls arrived! Obviously, these were rolls from a prior meal or day!! Our salads were fine but nothing special. The main courses were terrible. My wife ordered the gnocchi and they were very hard (not fresh!) and the sauce terrible. This was the worst gnocchi dish I have ever tasted! I had a chicken dish--the chicken was okay but the sauce was over powering and much too heavy. We finished with a creme brûlée which was okay but nothing special. Regarding the heavy sauce, we had lunch at Aquas during our stay and both of us had ravioli which was overpowered by a sauce that was too heavy and rich, and ruined the underlying ravioli. The chef needs to appreciate that most don't care for heavy and overpowering sauces anymore! Maybe we hit this on a bad night, but based on our experience, I recommend going to either Pucon or Villarrica where we had excellent meals--dinner at Aquas is just not good!

He deserves his title: he IS the KING OF SEAFOOD : Daniel Leyton, the owner, serves you in person with his smiling Hemingway face: sauces to dream, fresh fish to get crazy and very local seafood from Chile with his unbeatable Pisco Sour...his homy looking restaurant has a completeview of the Villarrica Lake, is close to the lakeshore, profesional personnel and meeting point oflots of chilean and international celebrities. The prices are quite atractive in relation with portionyou will get on your plate !!!

Muy rica toda la comida. Probamos pullmay, empanadas de mariscos, reineta con salsa margarita, leche asada... todo exquisito y los precios muy economicos para la zona.Muy recomendable.
