Sibu /ˈsibuː/ (simplified Chinese: 诗巫; traditional Chinese: 詩巫; pinyin: Shīwū) is an inland town at the central region of Sarawak and the capital of Sibu District in Sibu Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. The town is located on the island of Borneo. The town covers an area of 129.5 square kilometres (50.0 sq mi). It is located at the confluence of the Rajang and Igan Rivers, some 60 kilometres from the South China Sea and approximately 191.5 kilometres (119 mi) north-east of the state capital Kuching. Sibu is mainly populated by the Chinese especially the Fuzhou Chinese ethnicity. Other local ethnic indigenous groups such Melanau, Malay, and Iban are also present, but unlike other regions of Sarawak, they are not as significant. The town population as of the year 2010 is 162,676.

I was asked by local connection to go to this restaurant and try the Pork knuckle. It was amazing. It was better than Pork knuckle I had in Germany. It was cheap as well.If you ever, visit this town, I highly recommend try the Pork Knuckle.

Make sure you order the fish dishes here! It's fresh, savory and reasonably priced. Choice of menu is great and most of the dishes are reasonably priced. Be sure to call and make a reservation as this place is mostly full for lunch and dinner.

Cheap, economic and large quantity. Somewhere worth to go for lunch or dinner because the portion is large and the price is cheap so as the food is tasty. (order the ones cook on spot)

Very good Sibu style Chinese restaurant. I was told the food really reflected the local Chinese cuisines using locally available fresh fish, duck, meat, bamboo shoots, and vegetables. I found the taste really different but delicious. Today I invited to having lunch at this restaurant. The invitation was using all 47 tables at the ground floor at this restaurant. It was a real banquet. The foods were served simultaneously to all the tables. Really amazed to see the staffs organizing it.
