we plane to have a lunch there. there was a nice table almost on the beach. the owner took the order and brought the food but table was dirty and mud. we ask him to cleane it and he said arrogantly that is clean enough :( After that his fife came and clean the table. after lounch we took a bath and stay maybe for an hour and use sunbads. in the end they want to charge us 6 eur for sun bads for this our! we didn´t pay and we will newer come back to them!!!

We visited Lakis last month during our visit of Samos. Lakis is a really friendly man and so is his staff. He stood by our table every 5 minutes to ask whether everything was okay. At first we did not know why. At the end we found out, that it is because he wanted a good rating on this website. The souvlaki was so dry. My husband ordered the pork souvlaki, it was dry. I ordered the beef souvlaki, also very dry and not tasty at all. Even the dessert which was given to us, was too much and not tasy. I am sorry Lakis, you are a wonderfull host. But I have had better food in Samos. Further, it makes me wonder why your restaurant is the nr 1 in Samos. I hope it is not because you are so overly friendly and leave people no choice and at the end you beg for a nice rating.You have to be a very bad colleague (miss lady) to deal with me! what you write shows how stupid you are and how poor your mind is..1.if we see that the criticism is written by a customer and that the staff every five minutes asked if the food was good without getting a negative answer. we know the food we offer to the world and we know how to look it in the eyes! if you are a customer you should really be ashamed or not well in your minds2.we can't ask for reviews from customers who aren't happy with someone who doesn't like the flavors, nor do we force anyone to write.3.if you really ate here you showed us your fake self. The family is so nice that I would not write this comment if they did not have a notice requesting to be evaluated in TripadvisorWe wrre the only customers in the rest. and the kitchen was about to closeThe tzachiki was old garlic smelled bad they could make a fresh one. There was nothing complimentaryAs for the hotel the room was quite basicBeds were reallly old, the springs were aching my back. There was no soap. We could not sleep of mosqitoes. But the old couple deserves respect for working at their age. And the bay was our favorite in Samos, wish they improved the room quality.Dear guest drbora.Thank you for your comment. If you wanna have the best homemade grandmother style Greek food in a quite scenic little square this is the place. All the dishes we tried were excellent in this family owned restaurant, served with a smile under a huge tree in the scenic Ano Vathi. Warm hospitality with great food!

While staying in the "Red" Mouzakis Villa, we visit this restaurant several times. Food was very tasteful and all the ingredients were fresh and home-made. We stayed 2 weeks in Agia Pareskevi Nisi and tried almost everything on the menu:Grilled Sardines, Lamb Chops, Souvlaki, Gyros, grilled Hamburgers, Sea Food Saganaki, fried Shrimps and the Spaghetti Carbonara and Greek Salad were very tasteful! Mary is a good cook and we thank her also for bringing up the food to the Red Villa! Thank you very much for your comment!!!

This place serves externally fresh food at affordable prices. Saw a few locals dine here , always a good signService was quick , warm and courteous The Gemista here , which is stuffed peppers in a tomato paste drizzled with olive oil, was the best we have had in TurkeyALso there was a local dessert made with Semolina , I think it was called Ravani , was to die for !!

We visited this place during greek holiday,it was very busy but still,it was not an excuse to get our first dish after 1,5 hour of waiting.Waiter forgot to inform us that they were out of saganaki and it was really late,to wait for something else,so we left rather hungry.The biggest issue is bad smell coming from the mud surrounding the taverna though.

I came across this place fortuitously while strolling the back allies at random. The turquoise furnishing somehow drew my attention and I decided to glance at the menu. I liked the eclectic lunch offerings at reasonable prices, so I followed the owner to a table outside (nice sunny day). The place seemed friendly and while I was there, few locals stopped by to have drinks and chat with the owner. At one point, I saw her running outside excited; calling the man who walked passed the restauarnt. According to her, he was a good friend who just recovered from a serious illness. Their conversation sounded Greek to me but I could tell she was euphoric to see him. Anyway, I ordered the Greek Salad, the chicken souvlaki and a cold drink. The tasty salad came with a huge piece of cheese and a basket of bread, which I still crave for now and then. The chicken souvlaki consisted of four sticks of chicken kabob with fries. I was not thrilled with the fries but the chicken was certainly delicious. I would certainly consider going back to this establishment, if I happen to be at Samos in the future.
