Myself and my partner visited this restaurant on two occasions whilst on holiday in Nidri two weeks ago. We were more than impressed with the food presented to us. On the second occasion my partner had salmon and I had the beef kokinesto (both beautifully cooked and presented) The staff are lovely and very effecient. The owner,(a lovely friendly man) came to speak with us and recognised us from our first visit. I think he said he was open for 8 years now which is testament indeed to the food and staff and of course location.This place is definitely a 'MUST VISIT' restaurant if you are in Nidri. It's a cosy modern restaurant situated on the beach with polite effecient staff, an excellent chef who knows how to make his dishes extremely tasty and a polite friendly engaging owner who also works on site. There are also lots of tables set on the beach in front of the sea with beautiful views as one sits and eats. I can't praise it enough and when I'm back next year in the beautiful Nidri I will be visiting this little gem a lot more frequently. Regards, Frances Jordan, Dublin, Ireland.

Visited here with my partner the week before last,15th/16th August. On our arrival we saw that all first line tables beside the sea were reserved so we then decided to sit at one of the second line tables.I went to use the toilet leaving my partner sitting there but when I returned I saw that one of the waiters was moving my partner to table right at the back. When I queried with him as to why we were moved he mumbled something inaudible like all the tables hadn't been reserved yet which made absolutely no sense at all to me. As far as im concerned if there's a table without a reservation sign already on then the customer should be able to take. An argument with this waiter(who by the way wasn't very nice or helpful)then ensued with him asking me if I was "trying to tell him how to do his job". I said to him if tables weren't reserved then paying customers should be able to sit where they wanted. We left with a bad taste in our mouths and then went to a very nice restaurant called Roots further up the beach and staff there were lovely and totally accommodating which is the way it should be if you're trying to bring customers into your restaurant which in my opinion is the whole point!!I ate here in Uncle Tom's last year when I visited and we were able to sit where we wanted so I dunno what's changed. This particular waiter who is an older man was here then too. He doesn't have a nice manner and I think he should be spoken to on his attitude. He's driving potential customers away and not bringing them in. I also have to say that I remember the food here not being that good but Roots restaurant food and service were amazing. So if you're thinking of eating here walk another few minutes up the beach to Roots where both the owner, the staff AND the food is amazing. The harbour front has a large number of restaurants of varying quality as we found out.Bardis is on the Main Street behind the harbour and the owner runs his small taverna excellently using his own produce.The warm feta cheese shared starter was excellent as were the mains of fish soup and lamb. Excellent meal washed down with his wine and a complimentary pudding.Had a lovely chat as he was very quiet for a change. A very enjoyable evening with the best most authentic Greek food this holiday.

We spent a day here, paid for the comfy sunbeds, but money reimbursed towards food & drinks.We only had a small lunch of tsatsiki & fried cheese, it was ok, not the best . The restaurant is well stocked with good wines & I think it gets booked up in the evenings.For us it was a great beach day , nice sunbeds, best part of beach.

We had pita gyros and the meat was awful. Bad taste and bad quality. There is no air condition so it is not a pleasant experience to dine while the temperature is 35 degrees plus the heat from the cuisine. Not clean place and the waiter was an unkind guy whose behavior made the whole experience even worse. We wanted to pay by card and they replied that they are busy so it would be better to pay cash.

Went to Calypso twice before they closed for the winter. On both occasions the food was excellent and the location is fantastic particularly when the sun casts shadows on the mountains in the distance late in the afternoon.It is only feet away from the sea and has such a great atmosphere. Very good service and all sorts of excellent food.
