A surprise in Montevarchi where we stayed for one night.La Buca di Ipo offers delicious seafood (e.g. gran piatto crudo), pasta, pizza⦠Typical Italian food with very small prices. And the service is nice and excellent.Itâs better to eat outside (in the street but very few cars are passing).If you are staying in the Chianti, donât hesitate to visit La Buca di Ipo.Thank you very much

This new restaurant in San Giovanni has soon become our favorite place to eat out. Located just behind the beautiful town hall the restaurant not only serves quite interesting dishes (meat, fish and vegetarian), but for Tuscan standards a lot of efforts are put in the way the dishes are put on your plate. An interesting wine list, combined with expert advice and warm hospitality has made us come back already several times.

We visited 3 times with family and friends in May of 2016. SO friendly and accommodating as we had a 3 year old and 15 month old and a large groupFood is excellent and the Bisotecca is fabulous. we tried Giusti across the street and it is a 2 and PiazzaMagno is a 10!!..very reasonable prices, clean and friendly.cannot say enough about the food and the people who own it.Bellisimo!!

We ate at the Pin Rose on Easter Sunday on a recommendation from our hotel, and it was fantastic. For around £30 per person, we had four courses â cold fish starters, mussels, pasta with clams, hot fish, calamari and langoustines served with chips, grilled fish, squid and potatoes and a delicious dessert. Wine was included in this too â a bottle of red and a bottle of white plus a fizzy bottle of dessert wine (and they gave us a gift bottle of rose as we left). The best thing by far about this restaurant was the service. The owner was so warm and welcoming, and although he spoke no English and we spoke no Italian we muddled through in French. He was fantastic, and the whole experience was wonderful. My father in law opted for the meat meal, and the piece of steak was enormous and perfectly cooked. Strongly recommend!

It is such a pity when lovely places like La Casa del Buono, are so poorly run and spoil a potentially good dinner.We came for dinner as a group of 9 during a week evening. The place was far from being full but nevertheless it took forever to catch the waitressâ attention to come and get our order and bring our drinks. The food came out of the kitchen so slowly that by the time we got the appetizers our drinks needed to be refilled and we were all ready to leave. Although the menu was creative and the food of good quality, the whole experience is one we would not want to repeat.

We had a five-star experience here, which I define as food quality exceeding expectations and something special in the service. The good-natured waitress had trouble explaining some dishes, and enlisted the enthusiastic help of a diner at a neighboring table. Our resulting seafood lunch was ample and delicious. Reasonable prices completed the nice time we had.

Took a taxi here from our villa and enjoyed a nice meal outside under a veranda. The pizzas were delicious. The seafood pasta dish left something to be desired with little recognizable seafood compared to similar dishes at other restaurants. It's in an industrial park on the other side if the highway fro Terrenuova Brocciolini.

We knew this place as the previous New Conte Max, but its successor Lalu succeeds in offering quality food for very affordable prices as well. We paid 108 euro for 4 persons, aperitif water and table wine included and got more than enough of real typical tuscan food with a gigantic antipasti platter, delicious pasta as primi piatti, very nice steak Fiorentina style as secundo, and best tiramisu I ever tasted as dessert.

Review on Break houseNear The towns of Loro CIUFFENNA where we stayed, we found this great restaurant,, where they serve wonderful choices of seafood and meat dishes. Even if you don't know Italian well, their menu is easy to understand, sectioned in two categories under âmareâ (sea) and âterraâ (earth). Since they serve mainly to the local nearby workers, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was super good and we went twice for the lunch. Besides menu dishes, they have 4-5 different daily lunch options. My husband had daily special of oxe tail which he thought very well cooked. My seafood pasta, caramari first day and scampi second day were both delicious, clearly showing that they just prepared fresh pasta. We walked out with surprisingly small bill around â¬30 which included a glass of wine, beer and bottle of water. The resort we were staying was full of Americans in tiny dining room for dinner with almost no choice but meat dishes, this restaurantâs Seafood menu was god send and listening Italian languages spoken around our table made us feel that we are not on the carribean cruise. Dinner we had on the next day was memorable. With fish dish for me and great staked or my husband after great pasta dish. Chianti wine they recommended was excellent and again service was excellent. . I wish la Ferriera, the resort we stayed didn't have high priced mandatory half board so that we can experience more local restaurants like this. We had to forfeit one dinner, but it was worth it.
