We did enjoy lobster, oyster and fish. The Chateaubriand was not exceptional. It took them about an hour to serve the starters and again an hour for the mains. Since we had the time, we did not complain. They served nice white whine but the St Estephe Cru Bourgois was bad value for teh money.Conclusion: we enjoyed our mail but they can work on some points.

We had dinner yesterday evening here.We chose the innovation menu, 7 different courses.It is really impressing how many ideas the chef has, association of different tastes.If you are interested in innovative cuisine you should go there.Also wine card and service are excellent.Thank you, weâll come back !

Visited with family on an annual visit to Kortrijk , which has many wonderful restaurants throughout, as has Belgium which to me has the Best Kitchens in Europe. This restaurant located close to the old church has wonderful food great variety and good selection of wine. As it was a summers evening the tables were set up on the green area between church and restaurant, the Bill very reasonable for what was produced

This new restaurant specializes in meat. Excellent meat. The terrace is nice in summer. Service is professional and efficient. Not cheap, but worth the detour.

Located in the outskirts of Kortrijk, in a new industrial area, this restaurant is situated in what looks like an old farmhouse. Nice interior decoration and warm welcome. Efficient service. Staff is exclusively female, except for the chef, as far as we could see. Maybe coincidence. The quality/price ratio of the menu is very good. No flexibility was offered to replace an item in the menu. Wines are a little expensive indeed, but well chosen.In a brasserie you may expect a lot of noise. But the acoustics in the room are quite bad. This always happens with a V-shaped ceiling and no other sound-deadening materials.

A couple of months later. They seem to have decided for the brasserie style. Also the food: decent, affordable, but not too complicated. Bistro Bordo is a cosy restaurant on the verge of the town center. The pleasant dining room immediately made us feel like home.The menu is all about fondue. Our group had the Mexican and the regular fondue, both of which were delicious. The same could be said of the (affordable) wine.During the entire meal, we got the full attention of the hostess, who kept bringing us new sauces, fries and fajitas. For an informal, relaxing, tasty and affordable dining experience in Kortrijk, head for Bistro Bordo!

Great location, great food and wine experience, perfect service ... at a reasonable price (during the week) for 4 courses dinner, paired wines, champagne aperitif and 2 half liter bottles of sparking water 120 ⬠p.p. My 2cents : currently best foodie place around Kortrijk and Waregem. Well done !
