This was our second visit. The food was very tasty once again and the location is very attractive - in the old town. The waitress we had was very nice and friendly. This place has no menu and no prices, the waiter recommends items and starts bringing out food once you arrive. When we got the bill, we were shocked that the price was more than 150 euros with tip for two people (with pasta appetizer, entree, small desert, and wine). The food was good, but not that much better than other restaurants of similar quality that we went to in Nuremberg. It just did not justify the price. If you are in Nuremberg and want to get Italian food, I would advise going to a restaurant with a real menu with real prices. Also (and I blame myself for this), ask the price of everything that you order so you know what you are getting into. Perhaps we got charged more than the locals, I won't ever know since there was no printed menu.

We received an voucher of Jochen Schweizer for the romantic dinner. Of course we were a bit skeptical cause of this voucher. However we were treated as regular guests and couldn't notice any different behavior.The table was located in the main restaurant which is very beautiful. The fire places close to the tables bring a special atmosphere into the location too (it has another room for dinners, like a big hall which isn't that nice from our point of view). As we had a voucher, a special meal was offered to us. We could choose between meal, fish and veg menues. An alcoholic shot and bottled water was included too. The rest has to be paid in addition but this is mentioned on the voucher too.The meat and fish startes were very delicious. The meat main course as well only the fish main course was bit boring. The dessert was tasty, obviously every dessert is tasty ;). It would have been perfect for us if the guests could combine a veg starter and a meat course...The waiters were very friendly and professional overall.We recommend this restaurant for couple dinners, no doubt about that. But next time without Jochen Schweizer.

We were here with a couple of friends and had ordered Garlic Bread and Chicken Wings for starters. The taste for the starters made us eagerly wait for the main course.We had Burrito , Tacos and Fajitas for the main course and man we were simply licking our fingers all the way through. Awesome

I am not much of sushi lover but I like to eat some during my stay in Fürth. The restaurant is always full and it is better to make a reservation preliminary. The best hour for your visit is about 6PM I suppose. The rush hours begin between 7PM and 8PM. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff are nice and polite, the food is good. In summer it is better to have sushi outside because the place is rather loud and the tables are very close to each other inside While waiting for our order we were offered a special salad (you have to wait a bit).I have already mentioned that Hiro Sakao is always full. I used to order a special box - Bento Box: Sushi, Nigri Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Lachs, Yakitori, Salat, Spinat. Having this box you have a possibility to taste small portions of different sushi. I like Sushi-mix too. As to drinks In summer and in hot weather I prefer Asahi beer and Calpis water (still). They are very refreshing. I suppose the food there is of good quality and at a good price.

Let me start with the bad - the wine. I ordered a glass of red wine which cost 6.50 euros. Since we were seated next to the bar, I was able to see that it was a bottle from a discount store in Germany, specifically Aldi. The bottle in Aldi costs 1.99. Unbelievable.As for the food, there were hits and misses, but generally good. The beet carpaccio was bland, but the pasta with truffles was sublime. We had three different mains and we were all satisfied with them. I had the shrimps poached in prosecco with risotto and it was delicious even if a tad salty. The other mains were exceptional. At least according to the my friends who ate them.Over-all, this restaurant merits a visit.Grazie. Gianni Minneci
