Was looking forward to a beautiful fish meal in a restaurant that has many good reviews. All I can say is that the food was okay. I was not blown away at all. The portions are large, and I felt my fish was over cooked. The customer service is very good, but I feel there are better fish restaurants in CaliThanks for your opinion. We will review our processes to correct the mistake.

I just went there once and it was great. I had fried fish, it was very tasty. For 6 dollars you get lemonade, the dish of your choice and dessert, usually made by coconut (very good)

I used to visit this restaurant on a weekly basis, but over the years it has been on a rapid decline. I visited the restaurant a last time in December and I am never again visiting. Just a disclaimer, I have only ordered sushi and crepes and this restaurant and this review is based solely on that experience. When the restaurant first started serving sushi, I was the first client there and the sushi was so good I would go on a weekly basis. But over the years the quality of the sushi has declined a lot, and right now its terrible. The fish does not taste fresh, and most of the fish used does not feel like sushi quality fish. In addition the sushi rice is not good either. As for the crepes, I used to order them as a dessert, but now even those have declined in quality and you can just feel the icicles in the ice cream (hinting at cheap ice cream). But the food is not the worst part of the experience, the service is. The service when it first started was just average, but on my last visit it was unbearable. We were at the restaurant for over 3 hours, and it was not by desire it was because the food was taking a long time to make. In addition, the waitress would visit the table very rarely, allowing you to go without a drink for almost an hour. The combination of mediocre food, and terrible service, make this a place to avoid. If you are looking for sushi you can find similarly priced sushi that is way better.

The chaufa con mariscos was excellent. They brought hot sauce on the side since Colombians generally don't like things spicy. The fruit juices were also top notch. Nice atmosphere. Prices are around COP 30.000 to 36.000 per plate, so not cheap but commensurate with the quality of food and service. NOTE: I ate here on a Monday, even though other sites it says it's closed on Mondays.

We experienced this restaurant with friends and enjoyed it immensely. The space is amazing, with singing frogs and luscious green plants everywhere. It felt like we were in a garden. Definitely try the carpaccio, any fish and the cazuela. Decent wines by the bottle.

Went on a Sunday and they were closed. Decided to try on the following Saturday as I heard it was Colombian fusion and was curious about their Indian dishes.Was the first person to walk in. About five people walked in after me and then another two.So with three tables and a place not even 10 percent full, I waited five minutes for a menu and then after 20 odd minutes to give my order I just gave up. A sort of chef came to to the table next to me and was dealing with them. Another guy stood about ten feet behind him just doing nothing and waiting. As I said 20 minutes waiting was enough for me. I shudder to think what happens if they are even half full.I went up the street to a place called Gringo. I got my menu right away and just seconds to place my order and they had the same amount of people.Won't be wasting my time there again.Dear Viri,We really appreciate your visit to La Comitiva. Wish we had know this place was just blocks from where we were staying. We went to the South of Cali. location. The staff recognized our almost nonexistent Spanish and moved us upstairs to be served by our waiter Santiago....WOW...self taught speaker of English...made our last night memorable...attentive, great recommendations, and PRIMO...waiter. We wish we had been more attentive to the tip. 10 % was added automatically...we should have tipped more. Was not aware we could have added more to the card. Just learning our way...sorry Santiago...next time!!!!
