It was our last dinner in Bremen and we chose this restaurant because of Tripadvisor rating... we tried the jacobsmussels , salmon , herring and grilled eel ... all of them fresh and high quality. It is a fantastic option for your trip wrap-up!!!

Provided you don't search for top rated Michelin or Gault & Millau restaurants, you can dine quite well in Bremen although it takes some searching.. We liked TOPAZ for its friendly service and good cooking. Minus point for the ceviche with green asparagus (not freshly prepared and still frozen!) but the crusted lamb was outstanding.

We always visit this fish restaurant when we are in Bremen, sometimes for lunch or early evening dinner as it closes quite early. There is a great choice for fish lovers and always a specials board. We are almost always served by the same waitress who is very helpful and good at advising you if you're not sure about anything. The wine is good and their fresh salad bowl just delicious. This restaurant is very reasonably priced for the high quality food on offer and such a favourite of ours.

If youâre taking a stroll around at the âSchlachteâ, just enter this nice Italian Restaurant. You wonât find Pizza here, therefore different varieties of meat, fish and noodles. We ordered a grilled fish dish for two (45â¬). It was amazing. Fresh, high quality,tasty and enough to satisfy my hunger. The service very friendly and attentive. Especially on a sunny day you can seat outside in the shade of the trees. We had a perfect experience and looking forward to join this place again.
