Stopped here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. No tables were available (looks like reservations are needed if you want one), but seating in the bar area was available. The stools in the bar area aren't the most comfortable - no chair backs for example. They do have both English and Swedish menus so you won't be left guessing. Decided in the end to start with the white asparagus with hollandaise for starters and the swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes for the main course. The food was pretty good if slow to arrive - indeed service in general was quite slow probably because there were only two people in the place working up front (as servers, hostesses, bartenders, etc.) and one of those disappeared for quite a while during our meal. The food makes up for the service for the most part, but don't come here unless you have plenty of time to kill.

The service is laid back and with a sense of humor, which seems genuine and not too much. The food (I had lunch) was good, the establishment itself is cute and the location is nice right by a lake. However if you are visiting Stockholm, be aware it is quite a distance to Södertälje.

We did not know what to expect but as guests of a local truck manufacturer we were teated very well.The rooms were basic but we only slept in them so no complaints. The meals apart from breakfast were not taken there but the restaurant did not seem that busy.Breakfast was the usual fare with just about something for everyone from bacon etc down to fruit or muesli,cooked meats etc.Although we did not purchase any drinks they seemed very expensive. I believe 85sek for a single brandy.The location is right next to the town centre and on a bus route so getting about or just browsing the shops can be done equally easily.As my title suggests it was our first time in Sweden so as far as know all hotels could be the same or perhaps we had a good one,I don't know.
