We had an excellent lunch sitting outside last weekend? The service, setting and ambience were great. The löjrom starter (Bleak roe) was delicious, and the fish stew of crab, salmon, prawns, mussels and crayfish was incredible. We would return again and again.

On a windy day at Kylen it was very nice to sit down and was brought very nice food and a very good redwine. Smiling swedes and a view toward the sea and the sunset - We didn't complain!

This is a lovely restaurant in a wonderful location. You eat on a veranda over the water's edge, alongside a channel between the main island of Tjorn and the tiny island of Haron. The channel is used by lovely boats, mainly sailing boats, which give an ever changing vista, plus Arctic terns diving for their supper!The food is excellent. we ate there 4 times; twice for lunch, and twice for dinner. All meals were excellent, and, as mentioned in previous reviews, the "Herring Six Ways" starter was stunning.Service was very good and welcoming. You have to take a short ferry ride from Tjorn, but it is very easy and frequent, and the staff of Magasinet make sure you are not left on Haron overnight!

Iâve been here before a couple of years ago albeit in the late autumn. Being here in the summer is a totally different feeling. The only thing thatâs the same was the quality of the food and service. We had a set menu, a bit surprised that this was the only option. To this we took the drink package that complemented the food perfectly. The service from the personnel was friendly and courteous. The best thing though is the setting for Salt & Sill, nothing compares to the Swedish archipelago.

We rarely get out but the grandparents took the kids so we could get an evening out for our anniversary. Port Sud was recommended, so we booked and we had a lovely view. Service was ok. Then drinks took forever to arrive and then our starters (oysters and raw lax so!!!) and then when our mains finally arrived it was wrong! Probably feeling more frustrated than normal as similar thing happened on our previous anniversary. When they finally apologised the only offer was a coffee (I canât dribk it) and a little money off the total. Iâm English and never find Swedish service on par, I have become accustomed to it but Port Sud was below par. They appeared under staffed and not in control. Food was as good but sadly we will not come back here or recommend it. But there are few alternatives in skärhamn

We tried this restaurant on vacation in Tjörn. The wine list is good, service is professional and friendly.The only complaint is that the two main course of fish were too cook. On the dry side.The grilled beef however was good.The view is splendid. There was kids jumping in the water from a big rock in the middle of the bay.Nice spot.
