In a place like Colombia, where a place like Beer Station exists, they get 5 stars easily. First, they have an actual bar that you can sit at and drink. Most restaurants and bars in Colombia have a bar, but its not for the customers to sit at and drink and socialize, it's used as a pass through for servers, ridiculous actually as I've seen some pretty amazing useless bars in Colombia. So, most bars and restaurants won't even have stools at the bar. So I love Beer Station (Yes,Valledupar) for this reason.Next, it's cool, clean, and the service is as good as any service you get in the USA.It's in a mall also so the walk-by traffic is kinda cool.As far as TV's, there's a few but I'd hardly call it a sports bar. There's pub grub and it's real good and this place will put a game on for you if you ask but don't walk in expecting to see Ohio State or Alabama on a Saturday night in October.Remember, if you go here, this kind of place is very new to the people of Valledupar so they kinda tend to sit around and just look at each other wondering if they "are doing it right" lol. I chose 3 stars for the "value" only bc it's really expensive for what you get. The value is good, just not great. You don't get much for what you pay for.In closing, Valledupar is a nice place to visit for a day or two but not much more. So when yoiu get sick of the heat and Vallenato music, you will find comfort at Beer Station.

The food took forever to come out and when it came out it wasn't real Mexican food and it was way over priced when the food came out I was so disappointed that it was nothing like any Mexican food I've had (in Mexico and US) I told the waiter I didn't want the food and I'll pay the the guac and chips they proceeded to argue and call the cops to remind you we didn't even touch the food when we payed the 15k for the guac snd chips they were taking a long time to give us the change do we left him 5k for a tip then we left and he proceeded to bother us while walking to our car saying we have to pay for the rest of the food or wait for the owner and the cops to arrive I told him I'm not paying for anything I didn't like nor didn't eat or even touch and left while he wrote my Licence Plate Number down. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT THE FOOD IS OVER PRICED SND IT DOESNT EVEN SCRAPE THE SURFACE TO BEING MEXICAN FOOD!!!!ITS A RIPOFF!!

We have often lunched here recently, often with guests and the food and service is always outstanding. The owner is always present and attentive guaranteeing service and a touch of humour. We have yet to try out the evening scene but this is definitely a spot to enjoy a relaxed lunch at a reasonable price.

This place has a great atmosphere, colourful and fantastic music . About the food, is really tasteful, fresh and good portioned. I ordered a beef, man!! Gotta tell you I could compare it with Argentinian beefs. The price is cheaper than many other good meet restaurant.
