A popular pub in Magdeburg & although it's not in the party area of the city, it's crowded on most evenings. A typical Irish pub with the typical British beers & British food available.Their burgers are tasty & filling & decently priced. You can also enjoy some football or rugby or other sports depending on what's going on.The only downside is that they have a smoking area which is not properly separated & you end up going home with the stink of cigarette smoke all over yourself & your clothes

Wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstags zum Brunch im Gartenhaus im Stadtpark. Das Buffet bot eine gute Auswahl. Eierspeisen wurden frisch zubereitet. Auch Eierkuchen gab es. Es war alles sehr lecker, nicht langweilig (der Hähnchensalat war super!) Und sehr frisch. Die Qualität war super. Auch der warme Anteil, der später angeboten wurde war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war fix und aufmerksam. Was mich etwas störte, waren die engen Container-Toiletten, aber das ist wohl Geschmacksache. Container-ok, aber wirklich sehr eng! Zu einem Brunch mit der Familie oder Freunden kommen wir gerne wieder!

I was here many times, It's busy on the weekend, but we normally go during the week and are seated right away and have never had to wait long for our drinks or food. Today we went here for a birthday celebration and had a great time. Great food, service, atmosphere, and of course, company! Today I had the blue cheese burger ... and it was great! Highly recommended :-) Huge portions.

Served by the rudest most ignorant waitress ever, who after serving my drink promptly proceeded to light a cigarette behind the bar and play with her phone.I asked if she could possibly put the American grand prix (F1) on one of the many televisions, however all I got was a no only the American football, which was on all televisions.To top it off the beer was awful, so I left almost a full glass and went elsewhere for food.The ignorant waitress didn't even look up from her phone and say goodbye.I definitely won't be returning here the next time I am in Magdeburg.

Good god I love this bar. They have done such an amazing job creating a little slice of paradise right on the Elbe river. I honestly felt like I was sitting on the beach in Cancun! This isn't the place to go if you're looking for a hopping bar scene, but if you want to relax with some friends and sip some drinks on a sunny day, there is nowhere better in Magdeburg. Oh, and get the Mojito! It is killer.

This is a restaurant cum beer garden type of a place. The latter serves Bratwurst and Buletten, and has a few stations where you can order drinks. The Mueckenwirt is beautifully located on the banks of the Elbe, overlooks the island in the middle of the river, has a small passenger ferry operating nearby, and the long-distance cycle path running almost through the beer garden. Picturesque!

We found this place... Way out of the way.. And we're not sorry.Place was great! Biergarten was beautiful.Beer was wonderful and the soljanke was grand! Soljanke is a carry over from the socialist times .Friendly people!!
