Ansbach is 25 miles (40 km) southwest of Nuremberg and 90 miles (140 km) north of Munich, on the Fränkische Rezat (Rezat River), a tributary of the Main river. In 2004, its population was 40,723.

Traffico tra Stoccarda e Norimberga, qui in Baviera le cucine chiudono presto meglio non rischiare mi affido ai punti di interesse del navigatore della ford a noleggio, esco dall'autostrada mi inoltro nel nulla e comincio a dubitare, in un piccolo borgo arrivo alla meta. Piccola trattoria con paesani che bevono birra chiediamo se la cucina è aperta ci fanno accomodare locale spartano pochi piatti rigorosamente bavaresi nel menù, cotoletta con patate e currywusterl con patate birra e caffe per finire spesa 10 euro a testa tutto ottimo. Atmosfera calda familiare e caratteristica.

This is a great place to just unwind and have a drink. The bartender keeps excellent shelf bottles of every spirit. Only bar in Ansbach with a good selection of Tequila's,and even some Mezcal! Best of all, I showed up at midnight and they were happy to serve up some burgers and chicken wings for me and my buds. Will definitely drop by again.

Wonderful local pub atmosphere. Had a BLAST on numerous evenings with friends and family. Good beers, heavy pours on whiskey, and cheap greasy bar food, just like it should be!

This place is located in downtown Ansbach where the old Pepe's used to be. There is no parking, you have to use public parking. This place looked pretty clean, but I gave it a two star because there was one waitress for about six tables, and she seemed to purposely not make eye contact with my girlfriend and I so that she could take her time. Took us about 20 min to order, about 15 for our drinks, and another 20 for the food. If the place had been packed, I would be ok with these wait times, but the restaurant was not even 20% full if you include the upstairs dining area.There is another reason that I rated this burger joint with a two star, and this is what really made me have a sour experience at this nice establishment. I ordered their Gringo Burger (which comes with jalapeños according their menu tablet) and I ordered extra jalapeños, but it just came with some weird sweet relish with a little bit of diced chile's or something. No Jalapeños, so their Gringo Burger isn't spicy. Also, the kitchen gave me my burger with a sliced cucumber that was thicker than the beef in the burger! I have attached the picture because I have never seen something like that (actually kinda funny).My girlfriend also did not enjoy her burger very much. She ordered the Veggie Burger and they cooked it well done! Guess they like a lot of black on the outside of their Veggie Burgers.Overall, it's ok. Again, I think this place gets a two star rating because the prices are more mid-range for a Burger Joint, and even though the quality of the Beef is more on the Gourmet side, the Prep is terrible. I didn't have a terrible experience, but I won't be going there anytime soon for another burger. Maybe it was just my order that was bad. Expect to pay at least 25 Euro for 2 Burgers, 1 Order of Fries, and a Water and Small Coffee.

I'm very often in Ansbach, so I visited "Café Klatsch" more then once and I can say that I really enjoyed it every single time.The waiters are friendly and cool. Also they strike a very good balance between leaving you alone and caring for you (asking if you need something, want another drink etc.).And if its full and you want to pay, but no waiter recognizes you - don't be shy to just walk up to the bar and pay there."Café Klatsch" is no real cafe in the common sense.It's more like a cool place to hang around, have drink and eat little snacks like sandwiches (which taste great).The menu is pretty creative and funny (for example there's a breakfast that only includes a cigarette and a black coffee).The prices aren't high and it's just in the middle of Ansbach, so it's perfect after a shopping/seightseeing tour.Inside "Café Klatsch" its comfy. The music is cool and you can always ask for card-games, dices etc.

We tasted veggie, angus, chicken and different fries, all is freshly made and well cooked. The waitress was good advice. A place to go with friends or family!
