Location piccola e molto spartana, servizio di buon livello, personale simpatico.Fritto iniziale mediocre, sia i crocchè che gli arancini non son niente di che. Focaccia con impasto del pizza molto buona, tagliata a strisce. Ma il vero re della serata è il pollo: gustoso, umido, speziato benissimo, davvero squisito. Contorno eccezionale, patate cotte divinamente.Prezzi assolutamente onesti. 4 stelle quasi piene, consigliato!

I was taken there by a local, otherwise I wouldn't have found this delightful Pizzeria.Sitting outdoors on a balmy evening with music floating out from inside was special. 3 euros for a beer and 1.5 euros for a glass of wine and 3.5 euros for a Margherita pizza were great value.Get there early as there is usually a queue waiting for a table.

what a fantastic pizza we ate last night!! One of the best pizzas i have ever eaten.This pizzeria just does a few starter plates and a great "misto fritto" that is a delicious brimming plate of fried zucchini, rice balls, crochet potatoes and potatoe chips - non greasy and dry, tastey and huge in portion which my husband and daughter devoured then came the stars of the show - 6 pizzas which we ate in 5.Mine was done to perfection - no oil and no mozzarella as i am allergic to the combination and it was so light that i ordered a second one with just tomatoe saucemy husband had a capriciosa - ham, mozzarella, olives, artichokes and it was smothered with the most amazing quantity of ingredients - cooked to a "T".my daughter was delighted with her pizza of mozzarella, tomatoe and fresh ricotta - then our friends had two margheritas which is a typica tomatoe and mozzarella pizza.we had a good bottle of house Aglianico red - water, liquors and a slice of ricotta and pear cake and paid 40 euros for everything!!the restaurant is bright and the tables are well laid, the staff are super friendly and the pizza kitchen is open and we watched the pizza chefs toss the dough for entertainment - the place was rocking on a wednesday night even at 8pm and if you go on a saturday you MUST book as it is so busy you could be waiting for ages..the pizza menue is extensive and they do pizzas to order or as per..........i would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great pizza at a good price and a good time - ideal for families, friends and couples - just such a nice placethanks for a great evening - we will return, Rita and Gennaro, Avellino

Spent an afternoon in Avellino & enjoyed lunch at Erreclub. We had a variety of pizza & sandwiches which were all delicious. The place was full of locals & all menus were in Italian. When traveling we strive to eat where the locals eat. The prices were more than reasonable & the beer & wine were wonderful as usual. Would highly recommend if you find yourself in Avellino.

The cannelloni and lasagna were so delicious and the service so friendly, we kept returning. A local shop owner recommended this restaurant for simple, authentic but wonderful food, and he was spot on. Only problem is my mother says she will never eat tiramisu at another place again!

Dear all, Avellino as a city is full of pizzerias,and many are very good,indeed. But Il Testone is a lot over the average. The superb 'impasto' , light,crispy in the right way,soooo tasty and inequivocably 'made in Neaples', with real exceptional ingredients, juicy mozzarella, normal or buffalo( what I strongly recommend),the fantasy in different tastes,all this and more,makes this place a must...each time I get back to Avelkino,I can't miss this place,the gentleness of his people and of the special couple who is running thisplace. But..pizza is just the beginning, not to mention the fried polpettine(meatballs) and many but so many delicate tastes, typical fron the Napoletana tradition. Closing with a special dessert accompained by a typical limongello or one of the several 'amari' full of herbs and misterious tastes. Ah,don't forget the local wines or many special beers which will accompaign your meal...

My cousins took us here for dinner the night before we were leaving Italy. Truly an amazing meal. We got so many appetizers I was almost full from them. The pizzas were VERY good - napoletan style. It's nice inside and be sure to check out the pizza oven and the grill. I'll definitely return on my next visit to Italy.
