Although Al Vigo is not located in the centre of Padova it is definitely a place not to miss if you are a fan of grilled meats (your not meat eating company would also find a choice of nice salads, pizzas, focaccias, vegetarian and fish dishes). It's a modern looking restaurant but cosy and good for dinners with friends and also for family. With its friendly and professional staff you can take most of the menu and enjoy a relaxed evening. Happened to be there by chance, came back another time and will go again. For its prices it is a mid-range restaurant..to be more precise..I went there with friends and with familyAl Vigo offers an excellent choice of grilled meat on the menu, including some extraordinary dishes like Fiorentina (you don't find it everywhere), tiagliata di buffalo, all sorts of steaks, personally I liked a lot their tagliata di angus al rosmarino (properly cooked as mid well done and delicious!) and also with friends we took Tomahawk which in addition to its excellent taste has a shape of real tomahawk and is well presented! I also liked their tartar..as for desserts I would stick to the traditional ones like tiramisu or pannacotta.. and only if you are sure you still have space under the belt after all you've eaten :)..my mom was nicely surprised by insalata ruspante and also by presence of fish and a vegetarian menu..it makes you feel comfortable if you are not into meat or pizza..the place doesn't leave you an excuse not to join your friends for dinner and makes up for it by nice choice of other dishes..I recommend this place for excellent food, professional service and relaxed atmosphere!Dear Guest , thank you very much , we are very happy about your positive feed back !!Our staff will appreciate your detailed review and hope to see you back in the future !!Best regards !

This pizzeria is one step over the average pizza places in and around Padova. The outside of the building is not impressive and the access from the main street does not make it easy for newcomers to get here, besides, it looks smaller that it really is and is not in the city centre but in the outskirts of town.Once you have overlooked the poor location, you can enyoy the pizza. It is tasty and light and it does not make you feel like you have been inflated. To recommend

This small trattoria was in the neighborhood of our B&B. The service affable and friendly and, while the menu is limited, I thoroughly enjoyed a very delicious pork dish.

This is an excellent pizzeria, but the food choice is much broader than pizzas. Various dishes of seafood are spectacularly good IMO, but there's still more... Good friendly service too, good value. Only the location - in a squalid-ish traffic hub - is not so good, but when you cross the door it is easily forgotten.

we went 4 evenings because the food and the wine AND the waiter AND the owner were just fantastic. Everything we wanted they made it possible. Seafood, deserts, it was just wonderful. we were 4, every evening we ate something different, each evening was great. Love that restaurant.

Quite an experience... The restaurant is very particular. Rustic setting and every table is different.The service is efficient and friendly. The pizzas were amazing ... Have to try Sfilacci di cavallo and add porcini!!! Down it all with very good beer.Cost per person less than â¬20Recommended.

commento relativo alla nuova gestione.il posto è quello di prima, pizze ottime, antipasti pure, così come pure le birre, secondi discreti e di quantià piuttosto ridotta, prezzi sopra la media, titolare un po' particolare, ma abbastanza simpatico. Servizio, tutto sommato, abbastanza nella norma, anche se con qualche sbavatura.

We ordered 3 pizzas, there was no one inside the restaurant and only half the tables were occupied. We waited 55 minutes, at 50 I went and asked about this and that other diners who came in after us had been served 2 courses, a lady (waitress) picked up the order receipt, waved it in my face and said âprontoâ! Well not so pronto really! They arrived 5 minutes later, unfortunately all had soggy bottoms and only mine had a tasty topping! We were all starving and after waiting 55 minutes had a limited amount of time to eat them. Had we been more fluent in Italian we would have sent them back and been far less English (polite!). They had the audacity to charge us â¬2 each for a service charge, there was no service that deserved a payment! There was a table of ladies who had arrived before us and were served after us, they complained too & were told that the restaurant was busy, it really wasnât. On our way out I told the âladyâ that I would be giving a negative review and she smirked and said âGrazieâ! Disgraceful! I would rate this as less than 1 but cannot.

Dopo aver provato tante pizzerie per asporto devo dire che questa è la migliore, impasto leggero, ottimi ingredienti e personale cortese. Unico neo il servizio a domicilio non presente, ma c'è sempre tempo per migliorare.
