Stopped in for lunch while en route from Padova to Lake Garda.We only wanted a light-ish lunch, so pasta was the idea. We've had many pasta dishes in Italy, where we've visited about 20 times, that have ranged from average to excellent, but we've never had anything to match this. These are not your standard pastas, but individual recipes that we've never seen replicated anywhere else. My wife and I chose different dishes, and we both agreed, these were the best pasta dishes we've ever had.The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the decor was beautiful, and these are great positives for the restaurant, but the food quality is why you must go. Sadly, because we only ate light and because we still had a distance to travel, we didn't get to sample any other dishes, but the menu promised to be very exciting.

We went for dinner here whilst in Padua, and were very impressed. The atmosphere in an old dining room with beautiful paintings and candlelight was sophisticated and yet relaxed. The service was friendly but effective, and the food was superb. The risotto was delicious, the beef was excellent and the desserts amazing. The wine list is comprehensive and well priced and we had fantastic good and wine. I would thoroughly revcrtbis restaurant, which deserves all the plaudits it receives.

This restaurant was amazing. The food and service were a real high point in our first trip to Italy. The staff was very warm and friendly and made us feel very much at home even though we do not speak Italian. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff seemed like they were a family. We liked it so much the first time, we went back the next day. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I am sooo glad we made it to La Folperia on this, our fifth visit to Padova. It feels like a well kept secret, this stall that appears late in the afternoon, serves fabulous octopus right next to a nice bar and then fades into the night when the food is finished. Well, once we had found it I made a commitment to visit every evening. Consistent, friendly and very tasty. Yes, there is a locals-only dining establishment nestled in a neighborhood far from the center of Padua (walk or take a taxi). The value is very good in terms of attentive service, quality local food, expert preparation in front of you and tasty wines. Would I dine here again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes.

Very good pasta, nice, fresh, and hot! Very tasty selection of sauces that everyone will be satisfied with! I went to this chain in Verona as well and when I saw it here it was no question that I should eat here again!

The Ai Navigli is a fish Restaurant in Padova, located close to Porta Gregorio Barbarigo.Besides the wonderful environment (see picture) the food tastes very well, everything is fresh and nicely decorated on the plates.Except for the expensive 3 michelin star restaurant âAtelierâ my hometown Munich fails to offer a similar great fish restaurant like Ai Navigli, which offers excellent food for fair prices.We were not hungry enough to check out the âMenù Degustazioneâ, however, our 2 courses were very enjoyable (see puctures).We can recommend the restaurant strongly for sure.
