We were doing some winery visits in the area for Lugana wines and wanted a typical, out in the country kind of a restaurant and this just fit the bill. Our seafood crudo appetizers were very good as were the following main courses of pasta and local lake fish. The service could definitely be better (in Italy it usually is a lot warmer) but all in all we would definitely go back to eat here and so would my friends who were with me,

This trattoria is very famous in the area for two main reasons. One is the great hospitality and fantastic service the family, running and owning this place for generations, makes you feel the moment you step in until you are ready to leave. Second, the food menu presents you with the most delicious variety of appetizers, pastas, meat and fish dishes, and house made desserts all made and prepared with local ingredients like oil, butter, eggs, flour, meat and fish are local produces likewise wine and vegetables. The price are reasonable but the dining experience is superb.

Excellent restaurant worth Michelin star! However the prices are quite usual. Definitely go to have a lunch or dinner on the terrace on top! Wonderful very well trained staff.

We go here every year for eating branzino alla griglia and drinking local white wine in the nice atmosphere of Desenzano's laguna. Though it is always very crowded, service is always friendly and good, too. Also the pizza here is recommendable. We had dinner two nights at this fantastic restaurant and we would dine there every night if we could!We tried some of their pasta, beef and pork meat, pizza bread, desserts, bottled and house wine, and we enjoined every single meal. Especially their beef carpaccio and pasta with truffles are to die for! I would also highly recommend their entrecote (which was better than their crostata). Plenty of delicious desserts and we shared many of them like tartufo, creme brulee, tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything was of very high quality and generous quantity.The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and has cheerful atmosphere. You can choose a table inside in the middle of the classy interior or a table on a pleasant terrace outside. The menu is varried, the service is very professional, and the staff - friendly and smiling. They may not have a Michelin star yet but the real star of this restaurant is his owner and manager Paolo. An extraordinary person who make you feel happy and special. His presence among his guests is always gentle, smart, helpful... like a virtuoso.Grazie mille, Paolo!

There is a lot more variety here than most Desenzano restaurants. Service very personal and friendly in a low key nice way. Food superb....try the prawns or the sea bass, pasta and burger looked good too. House white wine the best we've had here. Overall our favourite restaurant in the area and reasonably priced.

This restaurant is in the centre of Desenzano, a little hidden because it lays in an alley. Very good Italian food (lot of locals come here), friendly personal and not very expensive. We really loved it and are surprised nobody has written about it before

Maybe I misread the menu, but it wasnât quite what I was expecting.I had the mixed fish grill. I was expecting fried calamari, fried prawns, fried scampi (which I thought was a typo because that IS fried prawns) and Seabass.What I got was 2 boiled squid (body and legs) what Iâd call shrimp rather than prawns (theyâre bigger and you have to peel away the exoskeleton, head and tail) what I read as scampi was in reality scampo (I had to look this up and it is a kind of shrimp/lobster creature) and a fillet of Seabass (at least there was one thing here that I had expected to get)I donât like to make a fuss in a restaurant so decided to give everything a try.I like calamari, so figured the squid are just that without the batter.I have eaten shrimp before and enjoy them (I just donât eat them often because I believe taking them apart should be a chefs job, not the customers) and I ate the scampo because itâs basically the same thing just bigger.The Seabass was as every other review Iâve read here, deliciousâMaybe Iâd have been happier with the Seabass with baked potatoes? Live and learnSorry gentleman...But I don't know if You are taking joke of me or if You are really serious.You also took the picture of menu... Do you really don't know the difference about FRIED and GRILL???

No one of 7of us was there before and was a surprise.Full on Wednesday night, we ate very superb fish dishes...Mix of entrée to share and than a main course, who had a pumpkin delicious soup, who grilled fish, i had grilled monkfish and really enjoyed it!Last, but not the least, a choreographic dessert with ice cream and red fruits in a biscuit basket express prepared at our table by the owner! Spectacular!! Great job45⬠each is a honest price for a superb dinner
