What a fantastic meal. We went for the taster menu. The food was exceptional with my favourite being the veal tongue.The staff were attentive and personable. We asked for a wine recommendation and after a few questions the young waiter hit the spot. The view matched the food and we loved the experience.Couple of suggestions....It was really hot, and there didnât seem to be any aircon... suggest a few fans to keep the air moving... the staff did very well to stay focussed despite the heat.Do something about the millions of tiny flies around the grass area. We are glad we sat inside.

We dined here for a birthday meal. We reserved a table for 7pm. We were the first people in the restaurant and seated straight away. We ordered some Prosecco and beer and perused the menu. At once we noticed a 7 course tasting menu, enquirer could it be paired with wines ( it could) and we were in business. The food was excellent, the service prompt, but not rushed, overall just what you would expect from a high end restaurant. It is on the more expensive end of restaurants in Desenzano, but worth it for a treat, or special occasion. It was very busy, so booking would be advised. We ate here twice during our week's stay the hotel. Picturesque setting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The food is excellent and well-presented, with dishes we've not experienced before in Italy. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. The bill came to more than other local restaurants we tried but worth it for the dining experience. Hotel residents get a 10% reduction except on Saturdays.
