We wanted to support a newish small business, so went four times in a week whilst working in the area. Even though service was patchy at best on second occasion, we booked the celebration meal for 20 people, having been reassured that ordering 36 hours in advance would enable proper preparation. The owner affirmed that he would have two additional chefs on and also serving staff. Suffice to say, despite our arriving on time; the owner prioritised his take away business and meals dribbled out of the kitchen after a 45 minute wait, with the final person being served a meal, overcooked and inedible after 2 hours and 35 minutes. Two of our guests with a baby had to go home without eating. When I went to pay for the food that we did have and that which was edible; the owner became aggressive and threatening, until I suggested that I call trading standards to ask for their input. A thoroughly awful experience and he has reported a negative review on his facebook page as spam.

My first visit on recommendation. Visited at 7.30 on a evening. Place was lit up with tables outside. Very much a Mediterranean feel. Was welcomed inside and offered a drink while I waited for guests. Great looking inside. The menu was extensive and we all chose from the £13.95 for two courses. I tried some Turkish lager. Top stuff. We all had different meals and they were superb. Service was excellent and friendly. We were all stuffed as the portions were big. Would definitely go back.

First visit today on a whim. Always wanted to try it for ages. Greeted by a lovely man really friendly man who recognised me from the Olive Tree restaurant (5 years ago!!)Honestly the food was so good...perfectly cooked all beautifully presented literally couldn't fault it.Safe to say that This is our new favourite place to eat a d already planning our next visit.

My wife and I visited Emilyâs and we were both blown away by the lovely meal, my wife chose the Yorkshire Italian Rarebit which she said was delicious. I chose the Calamari Fritta which was equally delicious. Both plates were a good helping size and both went back empty.The service was both friendly and helpful and knowledgeable as regards the Bronte connection.We will return, next time probably for afternoon tea/coffee and cake.

Have seen this tucked away cafe on our travels along the road to Saltaire whenever we visit...and finally paid them a visit. Was well impressed with just how Italian this place is, there are a lot of restaurants in the Bradford area claiming to be Turkish or Palestinian or Iranian but they're Pakistani run so it is welcome to have the GENUINE article. Italian TV, a pool table, music ...but most jmportantly- genuine Italian food. You can have all day breakfast ( they open 9-9) which is great to know and a variety of scrummy foods, specials, pizzas, meatballs, REALLY tasty. We will defiantly be back to this cafe next time we're in town. Ciao.

Lovely deco, polite waiter who explained certain meals that we ordered, we had a mixed shared starters of Italian meat plater which was very nice I had the calfâs liver mash with gorgeously cooked carrots. Good bottle of house red.Will have the mixed fish pasta which looked great as one of my family ordered.Will be back.

Return visit and equally good, the sandwiches we had were fresh, both bread and fillings were good quality and the cakes were all delicious, very good place to stop for lunch. Looking forward to going here again soon, staff are very friendly and offer very good service, nice relaxed atmosphere. I was more impressed with the starters than the main courses, having ordered a platter for four that included the sausage, aubergines and meatballs, all f which were very good. The grilled meats are good, but thy are what they are and not overly special. Still worth the visit!

my boyfriend and I visited a few months ago so sorry for not having done the review before. We went one Friday night having not been for about 10 years! wow we will not leave it that long again - what a fantastic meal. Very friendly staff, I have forgotten the girls name who served us but am pretty sure she was expecting - she was very friendly and chatty with us. The food was gorgeous. We will be back!
