Cantina e cucina di mare a km 0: genuino, creativo e nostrano. Nel cuore del Borgo San Giuliano di Rimini a due passi dal Ponte di Tiberio.

We have visited the place by coincidence, walking by in the area of Rimini which is not crowded with the tourists, yet a very authentic place where fishermen used to live and stil llive. The restaurant offers mostly seafood - everything is very fresh and of a high quality, great mussles, great fish dishes served in the huge pan, great wine. The staff is vert friendly and patient, speaks perfect english and takes time to explain the dishes - and they have always a few which are not on the menue, depending on the fish they get from the port :) The prices are reasonable but not cheap, however the portions are very generous. The place was full with locals, we were the only foreigners. All in all it was the best meal we had in Rimini and a very nice evening was completed with free rum and sweets from the bartender. We paid approx 80 euros for 3 people, including starters, 2nd dish, wine & water.Dear Luckie79,So proud of your review.. Thanks a lot! I hope You come back soon and taste new delicious food in Retrò Borgo! See You again! Ciao!

Great little restaurant that is seafood only and quite unpretentious. No menu in English but you can't go wrong if you just use your imagination and adventurousness. I started with a pasta with clams and mussels. and finished with a mixed grilled shrimp and calamari. Reasonably priced, local crowd - no complaints.

We turned up without a reservation after seeing this place online. There was a bit of a wait outside, no more than 20/25 minutes. We were seated inside, on a small table tucked right under the stairs. Our waiter was Federico. To drink, I had the ‘scirocco’ cocktail, this contained rum, Passoa, passion fruit, orange juice, pineapple juice, lime and sugar. It cost 8 euros. We also had water for 3 euros and Pepsi max for 4 euros. We both had pasta for our mains, I had a large portion of mine, meat filled pasta in a meat and cream sauce for 15 euros. My partner had pasta with mussels, clams and cherry tomatoes for 13.50 euros. I was absolutely starving by the time the food arrived, (we were waiting a while) and also my boyfriend was served his food 5 minutes before me. I kept looking around wondering where my food was. There was no apology for the wait.We only had drinks and mains but we were there for more time, than when we ate at other restaurants in Rimini, where we had 2 courses each. After requesting the bill, it took about 15 minutes for our waiter to come take our payment, and that’s only because I made eye contact with him and raised my hand. I was bored of waiting by that point. The total bill was 43.50.They had a quiz going on in the later part of the evening, it looked fun, with a variety of questions and multiple choice answers. We would have taken part, but our Italian is non existent. There was also a staff member dressed as a pirate! He walked around the tables and hiding behind the stairs pointing his gun.My last point I would like to make is that as we were leaving, we saw a parrot inside a cage. We both felt so sorry for him being trapped in there, he looked like he was trying to escape through the top of the cage. (You can see in my picture) We felt sad after seeing him.Dear Princess-Tashy, thank you for the time that you dedicate to write these words and thanks for the chose to spent a time with us at Bounty. We're well aware to the importance to eating in the same time and if it's not happened- concerning to your pasta- we sincerly excuse us.We're sorry if you didn't take part to the quiz, called music time where there are questions about music. At Bounty's night you can also live music and the tourists from all the part of the word love listening to our live band. It's with enormous sorrow than we're reading for your feeling about Jack, our parrot. He lives in a big and confortable house, 2x2metres with all the care from our Crew. We hope to see you soon for a new adventure togheter, we're sure that the nextr time we'll read a five star revieiw!Greetings from our team and Capitan Jack Sparrow!

This newly opened restaurant on two floors (opened in Dec.2017), has exquisite design, is located next to the ancient Tiberius bridge, in a beautiful corner, surrounded by colourful painted houses, it is really something! It's run by an extremely competent young team, and sooo genuinly kind. Impressive. The menu is absolutely fantastic, all what you can desire from the local tradition, with excellent quality, and the very personal touch of this attentive, swift and kind team. Fresh pasta, soups, and the local meat dishes served with passion. You're just enraptured by the members of staff who attend to you with a smile.Service is superb, extraordinary quality, and very warm atmosphere, homely. The desserts, just the perfect closing to a wonderful dinner, choosing will not be easy, but try the cigarro- dark chocolate with cream, vanilla ice cream, bisquit, and... Served in a very original way, it will lift your spirits even more! Prices very affordable, you'll want to go back. We went two days in a row. Absolutely recommended!thank you very much! If you're looking for a fresh take on some classics, such as ravioli, enjoy experimental cuisine and are not fussy with what you eat, then this is the place for you. If you fall into any other categories and appreciate traditional and 'proper' food, then I wouldn't bother. The place is conveniently located in the city centre, a stone's throw away from the city museum and the bustling bars. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Booking is not essential but strongly recommended, especially at weekends. The choice of food is varied and divided over three set menus and the choice à la carte. You can opt for an all meat, all fish or meat-cum-fish set menu. These come with a range of the best sellers from the restaurant and are reasonably priced at €29 per person for the smaller menus and €39 for the bigger one. Drinks are not included, but you can get a decent selection of artisanal beers (mostly local) and wines. The à la carte menu comprises dishes for about €10 each. The set menus start with some amuse bouches served with a vegetable smoothie. These include tapioca chops served with a grapefruit mayonnaise, some delicious pecorino cheese and caramelised onions balls and filo pastry cannoli filled with cheese. The starters range from fish carpaccio in a courgette and feta sauce, roasted ravioli with a dried tomato soup and mullet with romesco sauce. Despite the dishes looking very impressive and slightly edging on to molecular cuisine, I have to agree the overall impression was that of having too much on a plate. Too many ingredients to remember what each component was and, in all honesty, we didn't think some of the combinations really worked. That said, I think it all comes down to personal preferences, seeing as the people sat at the table next to ours were praising the smoothie, which we found extremely bitter. Overall, sadly I don't think this place is our cup of tea. It has great potential and we enjoyed the great variety of food presented, but we feel simplifying the menu a little bit would probably guarantee a wider audience.

Thomas is a must see place in Rimini riviera!Beautifully located close to the Adriatic sea, this amazing fish restaurant offers incredible fish dishese at affordable prices!I visited twice with some good drinking friends and the second time was even better than the first time! You must have their Antipasto misto di pesce, either with white sparkling wive or cool red dry lambrusco! Then, please try their amazing Risotto di Pesce; continue with nice grilled fish from the Adriatic! They just need to put a little more effort into deserts, which are good but not excellent as their fish plates!Personnel is skilled and very nice, in particular Belinda, Benedetta and big boss Kapo!!!will come back soon
