As Australians travelling in Germany and being served by a Turkish waiter in an Italian restaurant you might think there would be room for some confusion, and, admittedly the menu did take some unravelling. This was made a lot easier by our waiter who patiently explained, and even went off to Google the English name of the fish of the day. We selected a Bruschetta first course, a pollo for her and a salmon for him and we shared a cherry flambe dessert. Every course was perfection and the theatre of local tables having their courses flambeed (an act that involved the waiters and the chef who came out from the kitchen) we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Highly recommend and fantastic value for money. With only one night left in Potsdam we had already decided as we left that we would return the following evening.

The speedy drink service and the relaxed ambience which we enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the HavelVery average food, one dish was considered excellent but the remainder were below par and possibly reheated from frozen. Our enthusiastic and very helpful waiter advised that the restaurant had just re- opened (under new management?) and perhaps the Kitchen needs some time to adjust.The drinks and food however, were very reasonably priced.

All the food looked absolutely amazing so we decided to stop for dinner and a glass of wine.Very competent and friendly service, the drinks arrived within minutes and the pizza 15 minutes later. No complaints whatsoever clean plates all-round.Highly recommended even though a little expensive.

âLa Godola Dueâ is one of the best restaurants Iâve ever been to. The restaurant is modern with some Italian classic pieces which make the restaurant so cozy and fashionable.The restaurant is located in the periphery of Berlin ; parking shouldnât be hard to find and it is a nice , quiet location. As a clean freak I very much appreciated the fact that the restaurant was really clean. The hygiene was on the highest level possible. The staff are outstanding! They are really polite,helpful and kind, they make you feel extremely welcomed . I have never seen such an extraordinary cooperation and understanding between the staff in a restaurant as I did here. You have a variety of food to choose from. Wether youâre up for a salad, sea food, meat or pasta - itâs all here, and I can easily say that whatever you do choose, will be absolutely delicious. Same goes for beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), especially the wine. Personally I would recommend an Italian white wine âLuganaâ for it truly is exceptional. If you are visiting Berlin, this restaurant is a MUST! Highly recommend people to get slightly out of the city centre and experience this awesome restaurant. Food was fantastic and the service amazing . Highly recommend also their 5 Euro lunch time specials. Excellent value for Money! I will be going back i can assure you!

My food was fabulous, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service was outstanding!!!The portion was perfect, the pork loin cooked to perfection and the lobster cream sauce was none like I've ever had before.Italian food seems to be quite popular here in Potsdam and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great little place. The pizzas were tasty and at a reasonable price. The restaurant is in a great location in the new gate at the end of the shopping area so is great for lunch or an early dinner. I had the pizza buffala which was with really high quality mozzarella. As someone who has lived in Italy I recommend this. If you come to the restaurant try and sit on the top floor. There us a really comfortable booth at the back where we sat for hours - so comfortable!

We booked to eat here one night as the reviews were great. We were not disappointed.We had a great table and were greeted by friendly staff.The starter of tomato and mozzarella was fresh, tasty and the portion was bigger than I had thought it was going to be.We both had the beef tagliatelle for main which was delicious, it went really well with our red wine.The service was great. Hopefully one day we will get the chance to go back.
