We dropped in here out of curiosity and ended out getting Bacalao lasagna, duck ragu (which we put on tagliatelle) plus some mortadella and culatello ham, which we brought back to our Airbnb. All excellent quality and delicious. Staff really helpful and friendly too! Tried to go again two days later but it was Sunday and just closing. Boo boo.

We made a reservation for this restaurant for dinner in April back in February. The reservation request was sent by email and we received a response from the restaurant the same day confirming the booking. We booked in advance as it was the Sunday evening prior to Easter and we have found in the past that Italian restaurants can be very busy on a Sunday night especially around Easter time. We also wanted to avoid having to traipse around town finding somewhere.We arrived at the restaurant five minutes early to find only one lady serving an almost full restaurant. We gave her our name and booking time and she looked at the reservations book. After a couple of minutes it became clear she could not find our booking. At this point we showed her the email confirmation. Clearly the restaurant had failed to make a note of our booking. Rather than offering any apology the waitress huffed at us, went across to the one remaining empty table for 4, pulled the 2 tables a few centimetres apart and pointed at us to sit down. She never spoke to us during this time. She huffed again and walked off. We sat there with no menus and no idea what was going on. We waited approximately 10 minutes to see if she would come back with menus and offer us anything to drink. This didnât happen. She was clearly already over worked and didnât want to serve us.We walked out after being ignored for 15 minutes and went across the road to another restaurant where we received prompt efficient service. We weren't the only people being ignored and others were looking around wondering what the delay was.We canât comment about the food but for customer service and operational management this restaurant was a total let down.

For a very good value lunch, try Antico Guelfo. It is off the main square. The service is good and attentive. The food is fresh, high quality, well prepared & presented and tasty. The house wine was tasty. Would I dine here again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes.

It's a new place, which opened in August 2017. Great interior and the toilets were really clean. Absolut plus in this areaThe food was really good at a fair price.Just the communication was a lil difficult. The owner asked a friend of him to translate and have a really nice conversation We would have been able to order in English, German or FrenchCiaoograzie per la recensione, mi ha fatto molto piacere e molto ridere....innanzitutto scusate ma nella mia vita ho tanto lavorato e poco studiato, per fortuna c'era il mio caro amico Giulio S. che conosce perfettamente almeno 4 lingue... o voluto far intervenire proprio lui perchè pensavo vi avrebbe fatto piacere conversare assieme. ringrazio e spero un giorno di rivederVi presto! Ps: la prossima volta chiamate così mi organizzo...hahahaha Federico

We drove past first time and couldn't find it. Being Englishmen of very limited lingo we thought maybe due to the name of this restaurant we'd find an English speaker to help us translate. Antonio did more than help us with the menu, he offered us great company and we discussed everything from football to politics and beyond. The wild mushrooms were perfect. Best meal in all of Vicenza. 5 star service from a 5 star team. Please come visit Comfort Food. You won't regret it :-)Thank you very much dear Dzi....

During a week long visit to Vicenza we ate here twice. Both times sharing a starter of crudites and dip (couldn't have eaten a whole serving myself) and then an excellent pasta course. The Malvasia wine by the glass a bit pricey but an excellent wine. Well prepared food and served by lovely helpful staff. It is a bit on the expensive side but worth it.
