Finally a quality place with quality ice cream in Bad Homburg. Not commercialized and not that Italian old fashioned Café that we see everywhere. This one has broken the rules and is attracting everyone who passes by, not to mention it's delicious varieties at better prices than the other Italian Cafés.

Were late for dinner bu no problem, an excellent trufe pasta was prepared, thereafter a super tiramisu both together with a fine bottle of Primitivo.

Good, fresh Italian cuisine using best seasonal ingredients. Fresh seasonal white asparagus were much sweeter and tastier than those at the Hotel Steigenberger, for example. Fresh fish, simply but tastily prepared grilled with olive oil and garlic. Pasta was al dente. Very tasty spaghetti with fresh clams. Good service and reasonable wine selection . My favorite casual restaurant in Bad Homburg.

My wife and I are retired Canadian professionals living in Frankfurt for 18 months. Today, between Christmas and New Years Eve, it was overcast and foggy and wet, and we decided to explore the narrow cobblestone streets of the incredibly beautiful little towns of Kronberg and Konigstein, with their timeless estate/residences. We had made reservations at Miro's (highly recommended) because we assumed, rightly, that the local residents would be a good gastronomical influence! Miros is located on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The exterior is unassuming; the interior is very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, with linen tablecloths. The owner himself seated us at a table with a view.If readers look at the comments on the attached photos, they will see why we were so delighted with the meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. The ambience is such that families will enjoy dining, as well as couples looking for a memorable experience. (Why dine at other fine restaurants where the stuffy, stiff formality creates gastric ulcers?)The cost of the meals is entirely reasonable for the high quality and absolute professionalism. We will be back again to explore the menu. We found accidentally this small Italian restaurant which doesn't have the most modern interior design but exactly this gives its charm. The restaurant clean and the menu card is broad. The food -- a pizza with some extra request and a pasta -- were very tasty. I quite liked that we received olives as anti-pasti with bread without asking it. The portions were generous and the waitresses very polite. The prices are very reasonable. Once in Wehrheim, this restaurant is worth a visit.

I've been to the restaurant twice. First time I was alone in summer. Had a dreadful convenience food schnitzel and promised myself never to go back again. Second time I was with a group. Ordered pizza, because I didn't trust anything else on the huge menu. The pizza was over prized, rather greasy but still eatable, Around the table heard complained that the meat they ordered was over baked. In general I had the impression that the restaurant has an identity crisis (not real Italian-, German- or other cuisine).

I grew up in this area and have visited this restaurant multiple times. I was never disappointed. Opposite. Usually you have your favourite dish at your favourite Italian Restaurant. At Pompei I always chose something different and it is always good. Doesn't matter if it is Pasta, Pizza, Fish or Meat. The owner is a legend in Usingen. He is Italian but I think he was born in that restaurant and lives there too ;-) He is always there he likes to chat with people and can remember almost everyone who set a foot in his Restaurant. Great staff as well. Keep it up. I will always come back.

Kleine Pizzeria und Eiscafé. Sehr familiär. Pizza ist wirklich lecker. Eis auch. Kaffee meist zu heiÃ, dafür aber noch gut. Chefin kommt etwas unfreundlich rüber, ist aber glaube ich, nicht wirklich so. Wir gehen recht gerne dorthin.

HUGE range of pizzas to choose from or Al Funghi or other Italian cuisine thoroughly authentic, sit outside for smokers or enjoy inside, either way its a cheap nite out but the food is great value ! BYO also if you like.
