After several people providing positive feedback about Streat Kitchen's food I thought I should try it myself. Given the chef's international experience (see Nelson Mail article: http://www.stuff.co.nz/nelson-mail/features/lifestyle/at-the-table/10001702/Eating-on-the-street) I had high expectations, and I was not disappointed! Streat Kitchen offers three meal types each day (meat, fish and vegetarian) and slider options based on the meals, as well as a selection of beverages.I have now sampled two meals (fish and vegetarian) and both were flavourful, well presented and portion size was just right for lunch.Streat Kitchen has engaged with a few other food cart businesses that are now working alongside Streat Kitchen providing a variety of food plus a coffee cart. Outdoor seating is available if you are not taking the meal away, and on a nice this is not a bad place to enjoy a warm, well prepared meal.

Always happy to return to this cafe. They have a great selection of cabinet foods, and the menu looks exciting, have not tried it yet though.The coffees were good (and hot) and the wait staff are very friendly.

This place has a great atmosphere created by fireplace, italian style tablecloths, wall decoration and music. The hosts are really nice and try to connect with all guests. The food service was fast. Pasta with mushrooms was deliciously tasteful as were the pizza's. Good quality food and portions are satisfying. Prices are $25+

My family of five, including three hungry teenage boys, were more than satisfied with our delicious pizzas.We started with delicious garlic bread, and then we shared an amazing seafood pizza, a pepperoni pizza, and the basic cheesy one. We all agreed that they were absolutely divine!The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were right near the kitchen, so we could see for ourselves how passionate the chefs were.

We were hungry after a day walking around Nelson and Stefanoâs was the first place we came across. The service was friendly and our pizzas came out quickly despite the place being very busy. Our pizzas were delicious and there was nothing left over despite the fact we ordered medium pizzas which are quite sizeable.
