What a wonderful find. This family-run restaurant has been in Manta for years but only recently moved to a new location across the street. The food, lovingly prepared by this family from Napoli, Italy has always been wonderful - particularly the handmade pastas. The new location has given the place new life and a more upbeat feel. Now a great place to go for an amazing meal and a fun evening. Go once and you will become part of the family. Highly recommended.

This is the restaurant within the Hotel Perla Spondylus which I have reviewed also. I dined twice here for dinner. I highly recommend the Filet Mignon which was excellently prepared and presented with just perfectly cooked accoutrements, I also had the grilled tuna dinner which was finely presented with just the right accompaniments done to perfection, but found the tuna to be on the dry side. I gave this restaurant a 4 star because of the dry tuna but also the fact that they only had vanilla ice cream and I'm an ice cream lover although they had very good selection of postres.My waiter was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very attractive with a view of the harbor.

My husband and I have visited the Capperi Ristorante on several occasions over the past year, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends or family. We have never been disappointed If you want to know where you can get GREAT Italian food, good sevice and at the same time feel like you really got value for your money this is the right place!!!My suggestion is: shrimp ravioli with Sangria frappe!!!

Conveniently located to the west end of Manta (near the Manta Host and Poseidon hotels) Hoppa has fine wood-fired pizza. It doesn't rival great wood-fired pizzas from Italy or even much of North America but Hoppa is clean, convenient and uses quality fresh ingredients.

This is a pleasant beach-side restaurant which provides wifi for its clients! The menu is in Spanish with English. Seafood and Italian choices. Coke Zero for $1.50. Garlic shrimp $8.00. Margarita $5.00. Spaghetti Carbonara for $9.00.

To be honest, there are 2 better pizzas in manta. But this is still a good pizza, with quick home delivery. Ask for it well done and you won't be disappointed. Eating there on the balcony is now ok, as they changed the silly stools for real chairs, so you can eat comfortably. Then cross the street and have a dessert n coffee in the coffee shop and you will be happy.....guaranteed!!

I had chicken that was tough and way over cooked the menu said it was cooked in applesauce it came with some kind of green stuff not sure what it was. My wife had pasta and it was equally bad. I talked with locals and apparently they have had a change in owners and everyone said stay away unless you want pizza. Not sure when this change happened but my advice only look at current reviews and go somewhere else to eat unless want to try the pizza. I had Sangria and that was tasty and the server was very friendly. When we sat down they had a bottle of bug spray on the table which you need this time of year.

I really like this place. The owners have spent a great deal of effort to create an old world look and feel. I have been there twice now during my two visits to Manta and I will go on each subsequent visit. The food is outstanding with lots of great Italian dishes and the service is excellent. And the owners always take time to say hello and make you feel welcome. A little hard to find though.
