Hemel Hempstead /ˈhɛməl ˈhɛmpstɪd/ is a new town in Hertfordshire, England. Located 24 miles (39 km) northwest of London, it is part of the Greater London Urban Area. The population according to the 2001 Census was 81,143, and at the 2011 census was 94,932. Developed after the Second World War as a new town, it has existed as a settlement since the 8th century and was granted its town charter by King Henry VIII in 1539. It is part of the district (and borough since 1984) of Dacorum and the Hemel Hempstead constituency.

Visited Prezzo Hemel Hempstead on Saturday 31st August 2019. We were seated very quickly and our lovely server, Kal, came over to take our drink order very promptly. Kal continued to be very attentive and friendly throughout our time at Prezzo. Our food order came out pretty quickly and all dishes were very tasty and well presented. Kal provided an excellent service and we will return becuase of him!

Whilst staying in the area for 3 days we took the opportunity to partake of an evening meal & 2 breakfasts. Food good, atmosphere pleasant, staff friendly & the manageress was competent & welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Staff need to pay more attention! I've watched 4/5 staff behind the bar ignoring me. I stood there for 5-7 minutes, not even an acknowledgement. One guy walks in off the street and was served immediately! Ridiculous. I was going to order a whole meal for two, and now refuse to do so.I've just watched another guy being completely ignored, again standing there for 5+ minutes without any acknowledgement. I noticed 2 females (I assume management) look around to me a few times whilst I was waiting at the bar not being served.First rule of any hospitality - acknowledge the customer!Customer is number one priority, not loading the fridges, or cleaning glasses.Utterly shambolic service, and frankly embarrassing. We've been here a few times, but won't be returning, or recommending.Hi n1k5I am very disappointed to hear of your experience you had visiting us recently. We would never want any of our guests to leave feeling this way. The team members you mentioned may have not realized you were waiting to be served hence why they didn't come over to you. Authentic Italian pizza, ingredients are fresh and delicious. We ordered the meaty pizza, large and it was more than enough for 2. Staff are very friendly. Ambiance was lovely. Would totally recommend everyone to give it a try.

The worst place I have ever been too! I went on reading the reviews and was disappointed. The place is dirty, the staff just as dirty and the food horrendous!There are jars of sauce for sale and they look years old. The owner/chef looks unwell and not capable of running a business let alone cook. The smell from the kitchen was unbearable and the toilets were a disgrace with urine stains all over the walls. No soap to wash hands what about the staff?! My kids love their food and they turned nose up. In fairness probably because I couldn't hide my dismay. This experience put me off lunch altogether so if you want to loss weight this is the place to go!Should be shut down Hello.Just read your review and yes I remember you well : you were quite stressed with your 2 young daughters and you even apologised with me having been a little too loud, which was fine, really. Children behave like...children. When they don't it would be questionable .First of all I am very surprised that the TripAdvisor moderators let you get so personal about my health in a food review. I commented to you that they might be a little spicy for your young girls, but you told me that married with a Greek you were used to spicy food.Smell from the kitchen ? yes natural aromas travels and stimulate the appetite of most of us.As for the toilets we clean them 3 times per day everyday and check them regularly .When I came back to enquire about your food you over praised me on its quality and as all the 3 plates were empty. A group of 17 of us ranging in age from 14 to mid 70s had a wonderful meal for a special birthday at Albertoâs on February 9th. We had two vegans, vegetarians and meat (and escargot) eaters in our group and we all loved our food. We had starters and main courses and Alberto brought out a birthday cake supplied by one of the party before we chose desserts so that was our dessert. A lovely evening, thank you Alberto and all concerned.
