Unusual dishes that are to die for. The French Toast is wonderful. Great staff and owners! They do different dishes that are different from almost everywhere, but are so good. The owners are terrific people. It is located just off of Beijing Lu. They also own the Tiger Prawn just down the street on the other side of Beijing Lu. I highly recommend both of these.

This place seemed like the place to go with young professionals. Had a great vibe and good music. The Italian was pretty solid. Iâd definitely eat there again. We had the asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, lobster ravioli and shared a pizza. We werenât too fussed on the pizza. It wasnât bad but wasnât amazing as quite a thick base and a lot of cheese. This month I completed dining at the trio of Western pub-style restaurants located next to each other (I.e., three in a row). This time at Morganâs, we had: tomato bruschetta, chicken satay with peanut sauce, Greek salad, Morganâs special salad, Cajun fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, sea scallops, and chicken, Morganâs homemade lasagna, and more than a few beer.

We are not a fan of buffers but know this place is crowded for that reason. So we reserved a corner table and went for a la carté. The grills and risotto are excellent. Personally, Iâd rather go for fewer quality, authentic Italian dishes than a huge, indecisive spread of cheesy, bread toy items. Find it consistently good in the latter.

Food & Service: 8/10I've eaten in many luxury hotels but the Ritz Carlton Guangzhou Buffet was one of the best in my recent past experiences. First off, it was my birthday so we had an awesome celebration, but what made it extra special was the service and the quality of the food and wine, which was fantastic. Wine paring is very essential and i think they got it right.They had a Korean Themed Buffet along with a large spread of international cuisine. We particularly loved the fresh Oysters, Baked Lobster, Short Ribs, Steaks and their house Merlot was very smooth. They also have a pretty good dessert counter.... in short lots to choose from.I wish they had better cold cuts, cheese and Mozzarella... perhaps they will once they have an Italian Cuisine theme (I hope).Special mention of the very attentive Food Manager Ms. Mei Mei Huang. She made the dining experience very pleasant for us.... things like making sure our wine glasses were topped up, bringing fresh plates/cutlery and clearing used ones, helping kids with their desserts..., without asking she got our Fapiao name card laminated, which was a pleasant surprise!Decor: 5/10The only thing that was a rather miss, was the decor of the place, which seemed to be dated and quite dull (compared to the hotel lobby/entrance).... so definitely not the best dining decor venue. Eating Italian food in Asia can often be a disappointment, believe me, I tried a lot. Buongiorno is a certain safe shore. This became my lighthouse in Guangzhou's food offers.Quality is great, the wine list is amazing and service is excellent for European standards. They're very accommodating, making the impossible to make you happy. Still, they have one rule, which is "Italian food" and "Quality first", they don't bargain on that. So, if you fancy a burger go elsewhere, but if you're looking for good food, this is far above all the expensive big shoots in the city.
