We visited yesterday with our young family and were welcomed warmly by the chef/restaurateur. He was able to recommend dishes for us, and prepared a delicious sharing plate of antipasti. Beautiful cheeses, meats, and home made bread dressed with a gorgeous spicy vegetable tapenade. The arancini were delightful too. Our mains were equally delicious, lasagne, and a vegetarian dish of pasta e fagiole which was pure comfort food. Chef was happy to talk through the dishes and told me how to replicate at home. All very nicely presented too. The food was very good value for money, and we could take home the leftovers (girls too full from starter to enjoy their delicious looking pizzas). Another plus is if eating in you can BYOB. Overall, delicious food, great customer service, friendly and welcoming. Could visit for a casual meal in, takeaway, coffee and cake, I would definitely recommend.

Called in for lunch on Saturday, went for 2 courses which works out at pretty good value, for starter I had the fried mozzarella, which was very tasty. For main I had the alfredo, and can highly recommend it. Everything we had was very good quality and we'll definitely be back at some point.Hi,Thank you for your great review.Happy to hear that your lunchtime visit hit the spot. The family visit here often and always have great meals. The atmosphere and service is continuously good. Iâve recently been diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and discovered the gluten free menu yesterday- itâs a large menu which is taken from the normal menu with gluten free changes! They cater for everyone!

Love love love Felliniâs. Such a gorgeous dinning experience here, the decor is lovely and makes you instantly feel relaxed the service is always fast and excelllent. The food is always amazing when visiting here and a very good price for local fresh produce. If you havenât been to this place yet , my answer is why not??! Best decision you will make !

We visited for a family meal. Unfortunately there were no pizzas available as the fridge had broken and the dough was spoiled. However the manager was very apologetic and gave everyone a free meat platter and fries. Staff were very helpful and made the most out of a stressful situation. We will be returning for pizza very soon.

We've visited this italian a couple of times and the food is always spot on! I normally go with a soup or garlic mushroom as a starter which is always lovely, For a main i got a chicken in peppercorn sauce with a side of chips, my wife went with bread and olives and a chicken in mushroom sauce with a side order of chips the food and atmosphere is great. I had to give this restraunt a 3 star because I didn't like how rudely the manager spoke to one of the young waitresses, when we finished our meal we asked for the dessert board I chosee the tiramisu and my wife chose a sticky pudding both were lovely! When we decided to leave we asked for our bill which was reasonable prices I decided to leave a tip for the young waitress on the table but when she cleared our table she put the tips into this jar which we were told by someone near us that the staff dont get the tips,I wont be leaving tips again! Called for breakfast today, its been 6 months since we last visited when we enjoyed the breakfast pizza. Unfortunately they no longer serve the breakfast pizza. Ordered steak & eggs, scrambled eggs on sourdough toast & pancakes with bacon & maple syrup. Unfortunately the pancakes arrived soaked in the maple syrup, I much prefer to apply my own. Although mostly excellent there was an issue with the steak dish.... The gentleman who dealt with the issue most professionally is the reason for 4 stars instead of 1 star.

You just can't go wrong with their 2 course special deals outside busy times. The 'mussels' starter is excellent and portion size is huge. My seafood pizza was solarge that I had to take two-thirds of it home with me!! Staff are lovely and attentive.Not a single negative comment could be made.

Very nice experience at the Whinstone, staff and it's pretty location really making it a pleasant visit. We sat outside and the wasps weren't a bother as the joss sticks seemed to do the job. The menu is still a weak spot though with no defined style and in the evening, masses of choices which makes the food a bit on the average. We visited for an evening meal following the change from mainly daytime to mainly evening service. The place has been totally transformed with new deco, tables etc and is very impressive. The pizzas were extremely good, the sweet potato fries excellent and the Italian ice cream exceptional. Weâll definitely become regular evening visitors.
