Met some friends here early one Friday evening. Wine by the glass was fine, pizzas nicely baked and my gluten free pasta with pesto, parmesan and prawns was a generous and very tasty portion. Try and book well in advance though - it's understandably popular and fills up quickly. My only quibble is that they don't do gluten free pizzas. And there is a given number of portions of gluten free pasta...I didn't know that, but I was lucky that early in the evening...

Dined here over Midsummer Celebration weekend. Spacious, clean dining area. Pretty average eating experience. Limited menu on a Sunday (even during festival period)...and therefore could/should have been more inventive choice-wise. Prawn linguine tasty, pizzas enjoyed....starters average. No tiramisu!! Italian restaurant!!! Other dessert selection mediocre. Reasonable wine selection.Staff served food with a degree of efficiency. No real engagement otherwise. Shame it was it our last eating out night in Sweden.

I would say that Casa Nostra is one of the best restaurants in Eskilstuna, the pizzas are excellent even if they're not Italian. The location is outstanding even though it's impossible to park the car legally, the meal tends to be very expensive with a parking ticket on top of the food. One advice is to park outside Qpark area by the main street where the city's parking company are responsible since they aren't as eager as Qpark to fine you.

We had two different experiences of this restaurant, on the quiet night we went we really could not fault it, the food was marvelous, very tasty, and large portions along with good value. We returned on a Saturday night and there were cracks appearing in the service due to the numbers in the place. The guy who seemed to be the head waiter was trying his best but was let down by other members of staff who did not seem to get what their duties were. Part of our order was left waiting to come to the table whilst the waitresses just stood by the till obviously trying to sort a problem out. My main dish came out on its own so much before the others I had actually finished eating before my friends main courses arrived. Quite a few diners were seated and then not attended to for so long they got up and left. other table were struggling to get their drinks orders and then get their bills to pay. The food was still good but they need more effective staff and perhaps more working when they are busy. My advice it to try when there are only a few people in.
