Eger is best known for its castle, thermal baths, baroque buildings, the northernmost Ottoman minaret, dishes and red wines. Its population according to the census of 2011 makes it the 19th largest centre of population in Hungary. The town is located on the Eger Stream, on the hills of the Bükk Mountains.

We have ordered pizza from them several times but that was very annoying when we were waiting several hours to get the meal. The delivery man is expecting tips even when he arrives very late and was very rude while giving me the pizza boxes. The food was sometimes overbaked, hard to enjoy. They out too many corns onto the pizzas, maybe because that is the cheapest option so they could fill it with that and less bacon or other parts.We chose not to order from them anymore and we are sticking to it.

We frequented this bar a few times during our stay In Eger. Staff friendly, drinks reasonably priced with a very good selection of cocktails of which we sampled various ones. Good location on the main street, especially when warm enough to sit outside and people watch.Although we didn't eat here, from what we saw of other customers' meals, they looked really good.

We have visited Pizzella on our first day in Eger for a dinner, The restaurant is located at the Castle Gate, Tinódà Sebestyén Square, so it is well-placed. However the design is good, the service is quite kind, the food wasn't authentic, even if the restaurant said it is an authentic italian restaurant. The pizza crust wasn't enough thin and crunchy, but the toppings are good quality.The penne was not al dente and wasn't hot as it must be for a penne all'arrabiata.Small terrace (4-5 tables) is available.I was a bit disappointed, we should try the other italian, next to the Palacsintavár...

my girlfriend found a fly in her dish and the waiter poured my beer on the table. i really do not recommend this place. the food is mediocre at best. there are a lot more better places in eger

My wife and I travel to Eger about once a year. We have eaten at many restaurants in this charming city during the past decade and we were pleasantly surprised to experience this new addition to the food scene. Wow! Service, food, decor all pop with goodness. Loved it.

We visited here in June my husband and I were so disappointed in the service, or lack of it. On being seated we waited 15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken. No apologies for the wait. When our food order came they brought my starter and main both at the same time I had to ask for my main to be kept warm and the food was delicious even though we were another 45 minutes waiting on it

My wife and I finally got to eat at the Il Padrino Pizza Club - on our fifth trip to Eger. The reviews and accompanying photos on Tripadvisor were pretty compelling, so we went there for lunch. We were quickly seated on the austere second floor, and the waitress was efficient in providing menus, taking our drink order, eventually taking our food order, and wrapping the few remaining slices for take-away.We had Gorgonzola e Spinacci and a Pizza Pepperoni. They looked great...However, upon first bite we were both overwhelmed with the sweetness of the sauce. A good sauce is made from tomato pasasta, tomato paste, garlic, oregano, basil, olive oil, and salt. Modern plant breeding has produced tomatoes that are naturally sweet, and are used by all major food producers in their products. There is no need to add sugar unless you are making homemade sauce from your late season homegrown tomatoes, which do tend toward the sour side.We quickly adapted to the sweetness, and were impressed by the outstanding crust, and the overall quality of the toppings.
