THE gastronomic highlight of Heiligendamm (I admit excluding the starred restaurant Friedrich Franz which I did not visit). Newly opened Medini offers such a good, fresh, simple yet sophisticated Italian food, that you will want to return every day. ZugegebenermaÃen die Suite im 2. Stock, der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Die Suite sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gutes Frühstück, netter Service, gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis.

We ate some bruschetta and pasta for lunch. Pasta was average and bruschettas were a bit disappointment - somehow the topping didn't taste fresh enough. The place itself looked quite smart out, but they really could bring the bill a bit faster after asking it, especially if the customer is with a small baby. It was also a bit hard to enter this place with baby carriage, since you have to enter the place via small stairs.
