Very cute, cosy and nice place. Pkeasant interior, nice choice of Italian craft beer (especially bottled). Extremely friendly staff. Nice place to sit up to midnight. And what is nice: even for small beer they serve tapas for free (like in Spain as bar name is Spanish - donât ask why, even bartenders donât know)

No smiles, no greetings. We went for breakfast and receive the great favour of someone showing us the table to sit at. Considering our experience at the Reception desk, this hotel seems to have a cultural issue around customer service.

We are in quiet Street in the center of Stresa. Is also accessible from the lake. More local is antique Stresa, with antique furniture, chandeliers and applique original MURANO Venice. Home cooking with products, mainly in the territory, NO PRE-COOKED.

We were looking for something casual our first night in Stresa and tripped across Fiorentino. We ate in the garden and aside from a few mosquitoes early, it was very pleasant. We all enjoyed the salad bar, especially after finding few salads in Amsterdam! The grilled trout was tasty (but a whole fish, so watch for bones), and the guys in our party raves about the tagliatelle Bolognese and lasagna. The side of spinach was a bit over cooked. Tiramisu was tasty, but Iâve had better. Four of us had salad, entree, dessert and small carafes of red and white wine, plus water for $100 Euros, so good value.

Food was tasteless and the service was terrible. Constantly ignored and when we finally got the bill, we found we had been overcharged. We received no apology when I raised it with the staff, who instead proceeded to lecture me on the meaning of the word error. Carissima Signora ricordo benissimo il momento, e il mio errore nella trascrizione, con sovrapprezzo, di â¬. 2,00 che peraltro ho riconosciuto e le ho chiesto scusa, certamente non voluto, come ricordo di averla richiamata , dopo aver sentito da parte sua la parola Ladro, in presenza di altri clienti italo-americani, che conosco e hanno anche loro sentito le sue imprecazioni, sicuramente non ho bisogno di â¬. 2,00 in più , mi creda, si è trattato di una svista , considerato che in quel momento, ero nell'intento a fare piu' conti, sa "errare humanum est" , a riguardo le persone di cui le parlavo , sono pronte a testimoniare in merito alle sue imprecazioni poco correte e infamanti.una buona serataFabrizio e fam.
